Prior to 2010, the community was listed by the U.S. Census Bureau as part of the Verdi-Mogul CDP.

Ok so was here about a year ago against my better judgement on a clients pick for dinner and it was horrid .First of all they seated us by the kitchen If you donât know the problem with that stop reading this review now because you donât understand fine dining The meat was crap , cold and tough .I could say the same for the service Just left Called the next day spoke to the manager of the place who acted like he had no idea that he buys poor cuts of meat Itâs just easier to pay the bill and leave He was fired before I could ever get back in for the comped meal he offered Until tonightA coworker somehow convinced me to try it again . I had a salad , it was a grilled salad , I asked if they could chop it . I was told by Agnes our server or whatever her name is â we donât do that â Ok .My friends Sirloin was crap . Tough . Cheap cut .I asked for the manager . He comped the meal Again he acted totally surprised Really ?!Look folks BOOMTOWN is great for free rooms and cheap table , not fine dining !!!!! Try the steak house at Western Village in Reno . Itâs OUTSTANDING ! NOTE :This review was kicked back by I am assuming the manager of the Steakhouse â Rick â I made a error and said the steak was a New York when it was the 19.95 sirloin . He also offered another free meal . My response was , â why would I come back a third time ?â My advice to Rick would be to stop looking at the screen and fix the food !Although I guess thatâs how you keep your ratings up when you kick back the reviews that you donât like !

We had 1/2 doz oysters on the half shell, bone in ribeye (my wife and I shared) creamed spinach, au gratin potatoes, and the bread basket with fresh made butter were all excellent. Great atmosphere and the service was impeccable. You won't go wrong here.

Were treated to dinner by our son and daughter-in-law on this special occasion. The restaurant is beautiful and very stylish, the food was fantastic and the service by Karissa and Christina was the most helpful, pleasant and professional we have ever experienced.

The steaks here are everything you would expect - including the prices! Still, it is worth it. Very high-end food and service is impeccable. Great selection of wine with full-service sommelier. Especially if you're staying at the Peppermill, yes, treat yourself to a meal at the Bimini!
