The filthiest, smelliest, most vile of any hotel I've been in YEARS!
Reviewed By lulupearlWho on earth is rating this hotel? Upon check-in, the receptionist kept scratching her hair and then handling everyone's credit cards. Her finger nails were completely filthy! The lobby had a horrific odor that reeked of some cleaning product, but completely gross. Upon checking into our room, with windows that did not open, the room smelled the same way, but worse because of the enclosed space. The fan did not help. This is not a weak smell, but one that is so strong you have to wonder what happened in the room to have required that level of cleaning product. There was a huge, semi-dried large round of dog poop just on the walkway outside of our room. What a horrible experience and I wish we had just stayed in the car a bit further to the Hampton Inn near Salt Lake City. DON'T EVER STAY AT THIS BEST WESTERN.

Reviewed By hjacobson56madI stayed in one of their rooms on the second floor. The smell coming from the room was horrible!!! It was like we were sitting in a smokers lounge. The sheets on both of the beds were dirty and had a horrible smell. We weren't even given bathroom soaps to use for the stay we had to go buy our own. The celling fan was so dirty that we couldn't turn it on because it spread dust everywhere. I went and asked the management to have a different room but the room they moved us to was just as bad as the first one. We will never stay here again and I will not ever recommend this place to anyone. They need to deep clean that entire place from top to bottom!!!!!

Reviewed By Flyer376402If you're ever desperate for a hotel in the Nephi area.... keep going! After travelling for 12 hours we decided to stop in Nephi for the night. Booked a non-smoking room at the Nephi 9 Inn expecting nothing but a standard clean room. Walked into the room and the smell of cigarette smoke was battling with whatever chemicals they'd used to try and cover up the smell. Didn't even bring the suitcases into the room, as the stench was overwhelming! Requested a refund... not forthcoming.... the manager would do it in the morning... nothing! I sent an email several days later requesting the refund... still nothing!

Reviewed By robbyc717We stopped here for the night while on a business trip to Nephi. We weren’t expecting a 5 star hotel by any means, but this place is truly disgusting. Upon arrival, we noticed immediately that the room hadn’t been cleaned. The floors were dirty, the sheets were stained, and there was a bra hanging on the bathroom door. We spent over an hour cleaning up the room before asking the front desk for new sheets. The lady argued with us and said it wasn’t dirty, but gave us the new sheets. We removed the dirty ones and the mattress pads were covered in blood and urine. We again went to the front desk to respectfully bring this to their attention, and were not only immediately asked to leave, but told they were keeping our money and telling the cops we trashed the room. We had that room cleaner than it had been in decades! I travel often and have never been treated this horribly. This lady was truly unhinged! Do yourself a favor and keep driving!

Reviewed By MidnightFreedomWe planned our trip from Calgary to Kingman with 3 seven hour days. Our first night at Super 8 in Butte was very good. This one had a lot to be desired. When we arrived - approx. 4:30 - had to use a 1990’s phone to call a persons from the office. When he came up front he checked us in and we left. COVID awareness- the phone does not get wiped down. There is a bottle of sanitizer(extremely runny) on the front counter. There is plexiglass completely separating you from the staff. I asked the gentleman a couple of questions about what there was to eat in the area. I more or less received the answer as he seemed distracted and gave me single word answers. The room was nothing special, it was clean, yet needs an upgrade badly. Carpets, furniture, mattresses, bedcovers, wallpaper, etc. I did not fall asleep until after 1:45am. We were facing a manufacturing building next door and someone working over there was pounding metal until at least 2am. The one thing that really irked me, also, to me, it is the principle of the thing and it shows the incompetence of management: Their Breakfast Policy. When we booked, like most Super 8’s it shows that there is a free breakfast on the website. Well, as we all know with COVID, that can mean nothing to a breakfast. After we checked in, we noticed a sign on their plexiglas, approx. 2 ft from WHERE YOU CHECK IN. The sign stated that there was Breakfast in the morning, it gave the time and place. We were getting an early start and I called the lady on shift and asked her if there was breakfast - “NO”. I asked can you tell me why, - “NO”. Is there someone else I can talk to - “NO”. I said ok, thank you and have a great day. Then I left. I am pretty sure that conversation was due to a language barrier If you are not going to give out breakfast at your location: you can have your website show that. At the VERY MINIMUM — do not post a sign — saying that Breakfast Is Being Served. That is poor management and it shows that the staff do not care about where they work. Otherwise, they would have taken down the sign. Overall, not a pleasant stay at Nephi Super 8

Reviewed By kimmA3222XZ1. Filty: Bathroom, table, remote, walls, etc. 2. Only 4 rooms rented out that night. They put us all in a row instead of spread out. Could hear the noise next door. 3. Bathroom tile rotted around, falling off. 4. Linens appeared clean, thankfully.
