Just had dinner over there. They have happy hours for drinks & 20% off appetizers. Went here ordering Pad Thai, chow mein & some appetizers. For us, the taste of their foods are average or a bit bland. We didn't try sushi though. So don't get discouraged with my review because each person have a different taste/preferences. The service is good, friendly and quick.

Family wanted Chinese food for Sunday dinner. Had passed by Dragon Cafe many times but never went in. So based on the reviews thought we'd give them a shot. The restaurant is nicely decorated and had friendly staff. Prompt service. Healthy portions. Just wasn't excited about the food. It wasn't bad, just not great. The calamari was overcooked. Dumplings were okay. California roll was good. At least we can say we've been there.

After eating sushi around the Omaha area the last few years and experiencing disappointment as some of my favorite places went downhill, it was wonderful to find this little spot off the beaten path in La Vista. My daughter, her husband and two young children (ages 3 and 5) went for a Saturday lunch. Everyday is happy hour between 1 and 4PM so appetizers are half price. It was very quiet and after we ordered were served promptly. There are several delicious appetizers to try, the crabcakes were especially tasty. There was a special roll for the day, the "Bliss roll" and indeed was bliss! Presentation of the food was great. We were in and out within an hour which was great as the kids didn't get fussy. Best of all the check didn't break the bank.

We came into Omaha having driven two days for seven hours each. We were wanting a Japanese dinner and drove north to Papillion , looking for one. Red was on the same side of the street where we were and was easily accessed. Little did we know how wonderful the food would turn out to be! Customers are welcomed and ushered to one of their tables or booths and given menus. I had thought that we would go to a typical hibachi table to endure a chef talking about "Japanese Parkay." Not so! They are given time to decide on their choices from this remarkably diverse menu, and the food is made freshly by a chef behind their sushi counter who knows what he is doing. 'The first dinner I had was Seafood Soup and an Egg Roll appetizer. The soup had pollack, bay scallops, shrimp, and lots of vegetables. It was served piping hot. My husband had the Teriyaki Beef, white rice, as he wanted a smaller portion. The food so good that we decided to return the following evening. The following evening, both of us were really hungry, so we both ordered from the "Sushi Bar Entree" portion of the menu. He enjoyed salad, Miso soup, and a stir-fry with vegetables and chicken., I had the same soup and salad with a stir-fry with calamari tentacles and vegetables. Both were fresh, served hot, and with a hibachi sauce. We loved our dinners at Red.Re. Menu: The menu is structured so that customers can decide how much food they want to eat. There are multiple appetizer choices, e.g. Egg Rolls, Edemame, Gyoza, fried calimari, etc. Soups offered are: Miso, clear broth, Tom Yum Chicken, Seafood, and Udon or Ramin soups. Salad choices are House Ginger, Seaweed, Kani, etc. Numerous sushi or shashimi choices, Sushi Bar Entrees choices: (regular and deluxe) , both cooked or raw special rolls, various fried rices, (egg, vegetables, chicken, beef, shrimp, and combos), lunches, a kids menu, and desserts (Fried Ice Cream, Cheese Cake, and Mochi Ice Cream). Catering and a Take-Out drive-up window are available.Red is in a strip mall with plenty of parking, including handicapped places near its entrance. It's a rare time indeed, when we loved the food so much that we went two nights in a row! Such was the case at Red!
