Reviewed By globalartloverTo stay in a village stretched out along a precipice is an invigorating experience and added to that is the draw of Remy Simon’s exquisite cooking. My husband and I have returned 5 times to this lovely, comfortable hotel in a unique setting…We love to take the room with a small terrace and view of the Fortress…magical! Susannah and Rémy Simon do all they can to make you feel like one of the family, tend to any needs & are most helpful in suggesting the many sites to visit. Parking is on the premises, breakfasts are copious and delicious. Owners fluent in French and English The walk to the fortress is breathtaking each time! Drives along the valley offer exquisite views of Najac. Although you are in a tranquil setting, access to the main roads for touring is easy: Villefranche-de-Rouergue Gorges de l’Aveyron, St-Antonin-Noble-Val, Bruniquel, Penne, Puycelsi, Castelnau de Montmiral, Monestiès, Cordes-sur-Ciel, Albi, Montauban, a bit farther Castelnau-Montratier and Monpezat de Quercy Good value. Cannot wait to return.

In the valley, by the riverbank in a quiet spot, 2 kilometres from the village. The hotel Belle Rive is the ideal place to rest and to relax. The hotel Belle Rive has 20 comfortable rooms of which there are several family rooms, each with television and telephone. There is a swimming pool, tennis court, laudry service, a lock up garage, large car park and many other little attentions to detail.
Unpretentious lodging, unpretentious price, perfect place for visiting Najac
Reviewed By carlabwhiteWe booked two rooms through the lovely Madame Mazieres. She was so nice, so occommodating, and she gave us simple but perfectly fine rooms with fantastic views of Najac castle and the river/water sluice. It was lovely and especially so with the windows open at night to hear the occasional owl and rushing water. We've eaten at the restaurant before, and have always enjoyed it. And the staff is incredibly friendly. There is no better, quieter and more authentic place to stay for a visit of the remarkable caste-town of Najac.

Reviewed By MaxwellMitchellThis is an absolutely exceptional B&B. My room was clean, spacious, and had a great view of the village square. All of the food at breakfast was good quality, and the selection was ample. The hosts both speak English as a first language, which is an obvious convenience for all English-speaking travellers. The hosts really went out of their way to make my stay as pleasant as possible (including very kindly picking me up from the local train station). I found them both to be exceptionally personable and welcoming. They have comprehensive local knowledge, and will help you to figure out which local activities are worth doing, etc. I would 100% recommend that you stay here if you decide to visit Najac.

Reviewed By Bernard GMagnifique coin. Au milieu des prairies. Dans un coin tranquille à souhait et à 5 mn de Najac. Nous avons loué le gîte pour 2 couples. Nous avons adoré ce petit gîte mais très fonctionnel avec une petite terrasse ensoleillée le soir pour dîner dehors. Très propre et très bien équipé. Sans parler des propriétaires très sympas et attentionnés. Bref un véritable coup de coeur pour ce week-end prolongé de Pentecôte. Très belle région pour ceux qui aiment le VTT et les randos.
