Have not been to Rice & Spice Thai Kitchen for a couple of months. Have been trying other new restaurants, especially Thai. Being Spring Break at Ole Miss, the restaurant had only about a dozen diners, plus some take out customers.We had Tom Yum Soup for start. This we followed by Pad Thai and Pannang Curry. Everything was tasty and attractively presented. The Hot Jasmine Tea was perfect. This is the best Thai restaurant in Oxford.Service, as always, was great. Complete dinner was $35 plus tip.

I had the steamed vegetable dumplings and General Tao chicken. The steamed dumplings were great. I usually get pork, but I was pleasantly surprised and happy with the vegetable dumplings. The chicken was ok. The sauce was good, but I felt like the chicken was over cooked. I also got fried rice and it was good with lots of flavor and ingredients. The service was top notch and the reason for 4 stars instead of 3.

Picked up a dinner from Pick Thai, tonight. For our granddaughters and great grand kids we got Spring rolls, vegetable dumplings, Pick Thai Fried Rice with chicken and two orders of Yellow Curry with chicken, one mild spice level and one medium. For the three of us [me, wife and daughter] we had an order of spring rolls [4] and an order of steamed vegetable dumplings [6] as an appetizer. We followed these with Ginger Stir Fried with chicken and an order of Basil Stir Fried with chicken. Both of these dishes were ordered at the medium heat level.Everything was prepared within 20 minutes. The staff brought everything out to the car and placed in the trunk of my Porsche Boxster. The individual styro foam containers were placed into two cardboard boxes - making them easy to carry.The food was tasty, although I have had better spring rolls. The dumplings may be the best in town. The Stir Fried dishes were excellent and the two portions were enough for three, with the rice that was included.
