My husband and I went during our babymoon and we loved it!!! We got the pot stickers and spring rolls, which were made fresh and were delicious. He got pho and I got the drunken noodles, which were both delicious. Notice a theme? Not only was the food delicious, the owner seemed to know almost all of the customers. He checked on us several times, served us, and was extremely welcoming. I don't know if there's a kid's menu, but they have an area for kids to play. Looking for somewhere special in Hood River? Just outstanding food every time here! Curries-all of them, and the Pad Tai, out of this world. LOVE the charming house it's in also. Favorite place is the table on the old stair landing. Owners are the chefs and waiters...delightful people. Don't miss this one. We won't

We have heard about Lampoei's Thai Kitchen for years and decided to try it on a recent trip to Hood River. We got two dishes - vegetables to which we added chicken and green curry that came with vegetables. The vegetable with chicken dish had a light delicate flavor that we really enjoyed. The green curry was HOT - no flavor other than HOT - and the vegetabls were completely mushy.I had heard that the portions were big, which is certainly true, but each dish was at least 75% rice. We will continue to look for good Thai in the gorge.
