After being with hordes of tourists in Zermatt, we decided to get off the beaten path. We came to Cousset because the train station only has one track and the little town only has two restaurants. This restaurant is 0.8 miles from the train station - pleasant, flat, walk - and is definitely a hidden gem. We ate on a little patio listening to the bells of cows on the hill across the road. We arrived after the restaurant closed for lunch, but they were kind enough to make sandwiches which we ate with a superb local red wine. If youâre looking for a true, non-touristy Swiss experience, this would be a lovely place to come for a meal.

Very refreshing to be welcomed by people who are happy to work. Have been visiting a friend in Fribourg and discovered this unique place where food was simply delicious. Had a drink at the lounge located in the balcony before our dinner, the view on the place was superb from upstairs with a very creative barman. Try the fish backed in salt crust!Thank you very much for your review. Looking forward to welcoming you again.

malheureusement, je dois émettre cet avis très défavorable sur cet établissement... lors du souper de contemporains ou nous avons mangé du rable de liève... nous avons payé 95.-- par personne pour 1 entrée de 4 raviolis de je sais pas quoi, une assiette de rable de lièvre, mais quand je dis assiete on va dire 3 minuscules tranches de rable et des autoroutes dans l'assiette, arrivés totalement froids.... et un plat de spätzlis, froids également... et 1 dessert minuscule... vraiment très médiocre... on avait encore faim en sortant de table! quelle honte et culot de demander un prix pareil pour quasiment .... rien.... je déconseille pas, je dis juste PLUS JAMAIS !!!La serveuse non qualifiée s'est tromplée de plat et m'a mis une assiette déjà entammée d'un ami qui avait commandé un steak, (minuscule!) ...bref: pas bon,quantitiés minuscules, froid et ... extrêmement cher...

I was in the area at lunch time so I decided to visit this Portuguese restaurante that a work colleague told me about.I have to say that at first glance one wouldnât say that this restaurant could produce such a good or even excellent quality meal because it is situation in a small industrial like neighborhood...but I was surprised once inside.Itâs very well decorated, the owner/server is very polite, helpful and the food is great.Iâd say that the food is a well made adaptation of Portuguese cuisine to Swiss standards.I truly recommend it.

Nous y sommes allés en famille manger une crêpe pour le goûter. Tout le monde a beaucoup aimé! Les crêpes sont très bien faites et à des prix abordables pour tout le monde. Ce que nous avons particulièrement adoré câest lâaccueil quâon a eu. La personne a prit le temps de nous expliquer le concept et nous avons hâte de commander des salées! Party of 12, we were seated in a separate room with lots of rather random art. Food was great. Simple, tasty, nicely cooked well served. Good selection of wine. No excessive waiting. The place seems to cater for high dining as well as a local cafe.Will gladly go back.
