Masa Asian Bistro And Bar

This place changed management recently. We've been twice since it changed. The standards are even better than before. We were greeted with a complimentary bowl of broth soup and a cream cheese sushi appetizer. Delicious. We've always chosen the bento for lunch and it's perfection. The portions are just the right size. The sushi is also a very good quality. This is our go-to for sushi in our own neighborhood. There is a full bar. The restaurant is modern and artistically lit with a bubble water feature and colored lights. It feels like a small Tokyo café. The staff is attentive and friendly.

It's always fun to celebrate with friends and family at Japanese Steak houses! You expect the chef to be animated and entertaining! Fujiyama doesn't disappoint...our cook was funny and efficient! The food was good...but I can't say great. Portions were good and the wait staff friendly.

Wasabi Sushi

Went for lunch, had 2 different tempura entrees with a salad soup and white rice. The server was very much overtasked, the food was cold when we were served. The soup was over salted, but flavorful, served cold.Even the hot tea I ordered was cold.A very pricey lunch with little to cause me to return.

Buffet City

Reviewed By gearheadfoodie

This buffet has been in business for quite some time. I used to live here and frequented it regularly. Having moved back recently, I was anxious to try it again. I arrived at 630 for the dinner version. I really don't like being negative, but this was just a mess. From the tasteless soups to the cold, dried out fried appetizers on my first trip I knew this was not my old favorite buffet of the past. If my eyes had been closed, I could not tell the difference between chicken, beef or pork sample dishes that I tried. All very bland, chewy and awful. All shrimp items came complete with the nasty dirt vein that should be removed. I understand peel and eat are an exception but all? They had tiny packets of tartar sauce if you felt like wrestling with those, some melted " butter" which was so off-tasting I believe it was liquid shortening/ oil. Just yuck. So on to the dessert selection. Stale almond cookies, stale palmiers, very dry mini cakes, gloppy rice pudding and foul fake cream creampuffs. The one and I do mean one bright spot was the sesame balls. They were light and delicious. I even tried very small portions of the American section of food, each offering worse than the one before. Canned, watery orange macaroni and cheese, fake mashed potatoes and we won't even discuss the poor salmon filet. As an added bonus, halfway through my meal, a large family was seated at two tables beside my both. They proceeded to act as if there were no other diners in the place. VERY loud Spanish-speaking men and undisciplined children literally took over with staff totally oblivious. I felt very uncomfortable and finished shortly thereafter. On the way out, even the koi pond had seen much better days; funky, fishy smelling water I thought I had smelled on the way in and was correct. What an all- around disappointment. This is a place for those seeking quantity with no regard or tastebuds for quality.
