We just left Porterhouse. Had to come to Philadelphia to funeral home and googled restaurants. Porterhouse was rated very high on trip advisor. However, we did not enjoy our meal at all. Will never go back. The meat was full of grisel and could not even chew several pieces. Our meal was $80. Wasted!

Great steaks and a good salad bar. Steaks are grilled over charcoal and have a very good taste. The service is good and I plan to go back often.They are only open on Friday and Saturday night. They open at 4:30 and if you don't get there early you will have to wait to get in. Go and enjoy!!!!! I did!!!!

Often restaurants advertise "Cajun/Creole" style cooking to get you in the door, only to leave much to be desired on your palate. Not the case here. These Louisiana transplants have plenty of experience and it shows! From the gumbo to the hospitality Ashley's does Louisiana proud. Stars across the board!

Were in town looking at equipment at lunch time. Choose to try Ronnie's. It was a Friday & we got there just before the crowd. They had very good fried catfish. With good turnip greens. They had banana pudding for desert.
