We were passing through the area at lunch time, and stopped in Longhorn mostly because it was conveniently located just off the highway. We were well-satisfied with our food. Service was good, maybe just a little slow. We have eaten at Longhorn in other cities and have never been disappointed.

Food just so-so. The cook made a couple of inappropriate remarks while cooking. We were rushed through our meal--we were given the check and then someone waited for it before we even got halfway through our meal. I never got the tea I asked for-twice.

There was a group of us ranging in age from 13 to 68 on December 13, 2018. We arrived to the restaurant around 8:45 pm and ordered food around 9 pm. We did not leave until 10:15 pm because it took about 45 minutes for the food to get to our table and then the server forgot one of our to-go orders, so we had to wait on it, too. The server was good, she was just doing too much while others sat around. We counted seven employees sitting at 2-3 tables while only a few employees were serving guests and busing tables. We got to watch them eat while we waited on our food. And when someone brought a dog into the restaurant, almost all those employees flocked to it, too. When the food finally got there, only half the table was served. It took several minutes before the rest of the table got theirs. The food was really good, but it took a long time to get to us and we were frustrated seeing other employees running around while our server was doing a lot of work. She was forgetful (forgot straws and silverware until we asked, forgot the to-go order until reminded, etc.), but we felt bad for her because she appeared to be one of the only people working. My suggestion is: If employees are off the clock, they need to change out of their uniforms if they are going to hang around after in plain view of the guests so it doesn't look like they are just goofing off and if they are still on the clock, they need to find anything to do to look busy or stay out of view of the guests - and this location could use faster service. We don't plan to eat here again, but if we do, it will be take out only.

Worst meal I've ever had My husband and I each had salads And a appetizer.The appetizer was burned to a crisp and The salads were Wilted and lettuce was brown They had nothing on them Our bill was $72Extremely over priced !!Second time to eat there , last meal Was terrible as well !!Will never go there again wHello,We're sad you did not enjoy your meal. We came here for our 10 yr anniversary dinner. Our 1st date was here so we figured we go back to where it all started. We were extremely disappointed. Iâm not sure if they were short staffed or what but waitress never came to refill drinks. My husband finally got up and refilled them himself and none of the staff even noticed him doing it. When waitress came to table she wouldnât give us a chance to tell what we needed before she ran off again. Poor service. Also, mashed potatoes came out cold like theyâd been sitting out for a while. Potato soup was luke warm. Weâve never had bad service here until today. We sat in front left corner table and the fact that my husband walked to the other side of restaurant to refill drinks and no one asked if he needed help or even notice is quite discerning. 11/18/19 . On positive side the bacon on a stick was very good.
