First, It was so pleasant to eat in a restaurant that was not noisy like all the Villages restaurants. We could actually have a quiet conversation.The place is pleasantly decorated. The food and service was very good. we went on wild game night and I ordered the Elk chops. My wife ordered the 6 ounce Filet. Both pieces of meat were cooked exactly as ordered and were quite flavorful. We also had desserts, the chocolate cake with peanut butter sauce and my wife the cheese cake. Both were excellent. The service by Steve was first class.

"With extra egg" Megan declared. "No, I said no egg." "Oh, right." "And two waters." One water appeared. "Oh, I didn't understand." Later,a repeat of the request for a refill was necessary. Bar B Que chicken was O.K., although starkly placed alone on the plate.The Pittsburgh rare strip steak was properly cooked. It too was starkly alone on the plate in a puddle of black oil. The meat had a large amount of inedible silver skin tissue. (see photo)Salads were cold and fresh. The up-charge for blue cheese crumbles was not mentioned.Music volume was loud and intrusive.Service and food generally adequate for this level of dining.

If you ate it all, you ate too much ! Got the special again and was not disappointed. Always enjoy the chefs -- they put on a good show. Watch the kids and the expressions on their faces.They do need to advertise the hours better -- closed mid-afternoon.

We love Longhorn and this location was conveniently located to the Savannah Center. We had great service, but I would not recommend at all the cauliflower gratin, it was not worth the upgrade charge. It looked nothing like the picture and it was raw and not cooked properly. I was very disappointed and didn't want to make a big deal over it since it was mother's day. My Flo's Filet was perfectly cooked but didn't have much of their famous seasoning that makes their steaks the best than any other steakhouse. My mom enjoyed her prime rib and sweet potato extremely much. That's all that mattered to me. Our ceasar salads were delicious but served in a warm bowl. Thankfully we don't live in the area, so we will probably never go back to this location.

This new restaurant is absolutely stunning. We had high hopes for another good place to dine - it was a hit and miss. We couldn't get a reservations other than 3:30 in the afternoon, but decided to give it a go. There were 7 of us dining. Four of the seven meals were delicious. The other three were extremely disappointing. the Delmonico pork steak was almost inedible - full of fat. Two of the diners ordered the 5 oz filet. They asked for medium, got well done... and the filet was simply a 5 oz tenderloin, not a filet. Baked potatoes weren't cooked through either.Don't look for a happy hour - it doesn't exist. My biggest pet peeve is the servers are being trained to get people in and out of there. No time to enjoy cocktails and conversation in the middle of the afternoon. I told our server three times were weren't ready to order. She was polite but pesky. Didn't get two of the orders correct either.. the list goes on, but enough said. We won't be back.The following evening we dined at the Rose Plantation for dinner. They are heads and tails better than the Chop House will ever be. At least we have Lopez for fine dining by golf cart if needed.
