Disfruté de un almuerzo con un grupo de 40 personas y quedamos todos encantados. Entremeses frÃos y calientes de primero (un platazo para cada uno), carrilleras de segundo (la salsa espectacular) y tarta de queso casera como postre ... La simpatÃa de Carmen hizo que todo el mundo comiera genial (hasta los que no podÃan tomar algo del menú tenÃan alternativa). Si el grupo es grande se puede dividir entre los dos comedores que tiene el restaurante. Muy recomendable!

The Bar Jaque is a must visit in Cantabria whether you're visiting the beautiful Solares or just need to stop and relax for a while before getting in the car again.The food was very tasty and the service was fast and so nice. Last but not least, their prices are amazing, we couldn't believe our dinner was that cheap for all that we ate!I can definitely recommend this place!

The waiter's been very kind. The courses were very nice in size (two starters and two main courses were more than enough for two adults and a child). Clearly cooked at the moment, good raw material, so very good food. Not cheap, but totally worth it.

Restaurant was recommended by hotel we were staying in after I asked for traditional dishes to area and a table kindly booked. Upon arrival we we were shown to a table and the set menu â¬15 was quickly discarded and told not applicable albeit displayed on tables outside? We were presented with English translation al carte menu. Having asked recommendation I ordered single dish croquettes. Wife ordered cod in tomato sauce and that is all she got for â¬20 no side vegetables. Didn't order wine as viewing menu we got feeling we were being ripped off as tourists. Owner glared standing over table when wife dared ask for pepper. During entire period albeit paying restaurant prices had to listen to sponge bob or similar kids cartoon playing on TV in the restaurant. Toilets were next to dining area and you could hear everything. With three small beers total came to â¬39. Left very disappointed with feeling we had been ripped off.

We had a family gathering, we had a big table. The food was excelent, the wine selection is wide and great and the service was discreet and impecable. A great place.The decoration is very smart.

I went to El Boga with my family expecting the usual Spanish generous portions and good food. Instead, I found the best meal I I have had in a decade! We share a couple of "cocidos" (Stews) which were to die for: Plentiful, rich, tasty and simply delicious. We had already ordered some burgers, as we knew they were the specialty of the house. Thinking I couldn't eat anymore, I had a bite so I could say I had tried them...next thing I know, I am wolfing my burger down as if I was starving. Absolutely mouthwatering. To top it off, all the waitresses and waiters were more than friendly and professional. The price? Simply ridiculous (in the best way).Will definitely come back, thanks El Boga! :)

The inner dining room area is worth seeing. Make sure you book a table specifically in that area. We managed to get a table because we went early at 20:30 and promised to leave by 22:00. For my taste the good was on the bland side. Two of us shared 3 dishes: pulpo, pato and lacon with 2 bottles of water total â¬40.

Food was great, big hearty portions in a beautiful setting. A really nice family atmosphere, with loads of activities on offer, played the mini-golf which was so much fun and loved the maze - complete with incredibly cute donkey mother and foal as guides!A really well done family activity setting.Dear James,Thank you for your opinion.
