Went here with friends this week while on a canal holiday. We didnât book a table but probably should have because we ended up inside instead of being able to sit on their lovely terrace. The food was delicious, we had various lovely meals including salmon, steak and duck. It was really good value. It is on the edge of Homps and right beside the canal. Iâd definitely recommend this if youâre in Homps but book a table.

Our other restaurant choice being closed (Easter hols, they have children) we went across to Resto Leon to see what they could offer, and were pleasantly surprised. Open at 7pm which very much suits us, they have a tapas menu, a small choice of plats principals and one menu (priced well at 21â¬). Not flamboyant, but very nice. I took the menu (cassoulet of sea food, turned out to be moules in a nice sauce), demi-magret (very nice, and just enough for me) plus a choice of basic desserts - pannacotte for me, with a nice raspberry piquant sauce. OH took a main course of entrecote, followed by fondant au chocolat. Very nice he said. Because my OH had not chosen to take a starter, they offered a small plate of salad to him, for as she said, you cannot eat alone ... it is touches such as this that make or break a restaurant. A basic decor, but also a bar (very useful) with sofas to sit at ... and a little patio for summer alfresco dining. I suspect a Spanish influence to the cuisine, but it was very nice indeed. What's not to like. We will be returning, and very glad we checked it out this time.

Inspire goes from strength to strength. Not only an art venue, but J'azille too. Latest vernissage was a lovely evening. Simple food and wine and beautiful paintings, sculptures and jewelry. Music evenings are fab too. Definitely need to book, if you want tapas as well.

Party of 6 visited this restaurant. We had brilliant tapas, four dishes for 16Euro, three couples shared 12 dishes, every dish was wonderful, enjoyed by all. Wine also very good and we all enjoyed our evening out. Will definitely be visiting again, soon.
