Souplantation and Sweet Tomatoes creates an all-you-care-to-eat dining experience with a daily selection of made-from-scratch soups and salads and hand-crafted muffins, focaccia, breads and tasty desserts.
This is a buffet place with additional charges for drinks other than water. Salad bar was fresh and healthy but limited varieties. Inside, you will find pizza (which will reverse the healthy salad), soups and desserts. Good varieties of soup and I must say well prepared. On the whole, we did not go for second helping.

The restaurant hit the spot on a cold, rainy night. The menu is limited but it has the traditional ramen offerings. It also has Kenny Blankenship/Takeshi's Castle playing on the TV which was quite a surprise for the uninitiated. The restaurant is fairly small with more counter seats than tables. The broth was hearty for a vegetarian soup with a good helping of noodles, bean sprouts, tofu and other vegetables. Some bits wereslightly sweet rather than savory. It was good but not at all the best I've had.

And I thought I didn't like ramen. For many years my experience has been that 13 cent packet of noodles and chicken base. Even when I went to went to "a good place" my experience was the same. Finally a friend of mine convinced me to try what he called "actual ramen" and he backed it with a money back guarantee if I didn't like it my meal was on him. So with nothing to lose I tried it, and I have to say it was good! The ramen was spicy, the pork was tender, and the broth was very flavorful. This place is totally worth going to.

Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot is a restaurant specializing in Mongolian style hot pot dining. With 36 spices and ingredients in our original soup base recipe, our flavorful broth is sure to satisfy every single one of your taste buds. The highest quality
Very crowded - typical of restaurants around Mountain View's Castro Street on weekends. The dishes for the hot pot are expected - fresh vegetables and meats that were delectable. The pot was cleverly divided into two section for two different soup bases. Overall though, it was a bit small to accommodate a reasonable amount of foods that you would like to cook.Just like sushi, you are charged for the number of dishes you want to include in the hot pot so be careful as you can run a steep bill (for just 3 people, we ran over $120.00 which is quite high for hot pot). One very important tip when it comes to hot pot dining: wear something expendable. This is no joke. You will likely get soup splashed on you or have food - both raw and cooked spattered onto your clothes. If you're wearing a very delicate, high-end fabric that's of value to you - kiss it goodbye here because it will likely get ruined. It's not a formal dining place so it's fine to show up in a t-shirt and jeans
