Alors que beaucoup proposent des cartes à rallonge (je me demande comment on peut avoir des cartes de 40 plats avec à la fois fruits de mer, poissons, viandes, burgers et crêpes tous les jours), le bar iodé est un véritablement le seul endroit où on peut manger une cuisine travaillée et savoureuse mettant en avant les produits de la mer et uniquement les produits de la mer.Très belle adresse. Lâéquipe est par ailleurs sympathique et très attentionnée.

The restaurant is close to the ocean. The owner and his wife are friendly. Food is freshly caught by a local fisherman. Food tasty and fresh. The decor was very neutral. The downside was the lack of drink selection and the prices were slightly higher to what one expects from such a place.

The rather loud and pretentious Maitre d'hotel recommended a couple of dishes but we found the food lacking in seasoning and the partridge was rather tough. The most disappointing dinner of our trip and over-priced.

I spent a couple of nights here in May. The owners are very friendly and happy to answer questions or help with special requests. We stayed in room 11 which was round the back of the hotel. It was a clean, quiet, spacious room with a large bathroom. The room is basic but more than adequate. The beds were very comfortable.An excellent restaurant is attached to the hotel. Try the mussels and the galettes. Delicious and very well-priced.The hotel is a short walk from the beach. A post office and an ATM are just around the corner. There is a pizza place, a kiosk and a pharmacy just down the road.

Style, quality of food and a nice welcome.Ignore disgruntled reviews, this is a fine carefully crafted restaurant you would expect to find in Sloane Square or Chelsea.I admire the owners in providing high quality Italian food at reasonable prices with a personal service.We will be back with friends. Excellent food. One of the finest restaurants Iâve visited. Fish and seafood outstanding. Very tasty. The service is very friendly and the Proprietor has excellent choices for you. Iâve been their twice within a few days and will definitely go again.

Coming back time and time again! Les Sablons offer the same great consistent service and food everytime. Wonderful busying atmosphere, helpful and friendly team and the best and freshest seafood and crepes/galettes in la baule. They are always busy for a reason so bookings is necessary but best time is assured!

Having travelled extensively in France and eaten at many top rated establishments we have to say this small restaurant is amazing. Only husband in the kitchen, wife front of house, the service is managed with care & attention. It will never be fast because that's not the point. It's about the fabulous food. Fish of the day Hake to die for. If you want plat de fruit de mer it's 24 hour order in advance so that everything is fresh from daily supplier. AMAZING THANK YOU
