Reviews on Seafood food in Paris, Ile-de-France, France. Paris, inspiring and timeless, is as beautiful as a postcard. Spiraling out from its central islands, its many neighborhoods each have their own character and energy. And the best way to discover their charms is on foot, whether you're strolling the bustling grandeur of the Champs-Elysées or seeking out the final resting place of a favorite figure at Père Lachaise. There's always a café or bakery a few steps away to restore spirits while you explore, or a gorgeously decorated shop window to remind you of this city's love of beauty. Every so often, as you lose yourself down another small street, you’ll glimpse the Eiffel Tower and be instantly reminded why it's so easy to fall in love with the City of Lights.

The waiter was so rude that I need to write a bad review. Can't believe I was so excited to bring my dad to this restaurant with such bad attitude. It was around 6:30pm, there was so many empty seats and the waiter said "we are fully booked" in such an apathetic way. ZERO attempt in trying to accommodate us at all. We took the train and walked ALL THE WAY from the Gare du Nord station not just to be rejected rudely. Thinking about it just makes me angry. Never coming back to try their food. I am sure there are better food somewhere else with better service. We are really sorry that you felt the fact that because we were full that night as as being rude. For information the kitchen opens at 7pm and when you arrived, in fact, the restaurant was still empty while all our tables were reserved, so we could not offer an alternative.Perhaps the way of expressing ourselves in English has not been adequate and we apologize for it.Despite your feeling, we hope to welcome you next time, knowing that we will do everything we can to make this new experience a success.Feel free to book online and to announce you you. This restaurant provides a very high all round performance.Warm welcome, pleasant service, and the offer to speak English or FrenchChic elegant environment. We selected the 3-course set lunch for €36, with deep fried prawn starter, monkfish main course, peach sabayon and raspberry millefeuille to finish. All portions of a good size, and taste particularly good. Fine selection of wines by the glass or bottle.Overlooking the Seine and near Notre Dame. What more could you want?!

This restaurant was recommended on TripAdvisor, so decided to go for it. Was a bit apprehensive, as we were dining with our 6 and 12 year old granddaughters. However, despite the fact that they don't have a 'childs' menu, they were very accommodating. Each one of us had an amazing meal, the seafood pasta that I had was to die for, the pizzas that two of our party had were equally sumptuous and the Bolognese that my youngest granddaughter had; well I thought that she would explode, she just couldn't stop eating even though the portion was slightly larger that a 6 year old one! Small restaurant, a little off the beaten track but well worth a visit. Obviously popular though, so booking recommended.merci beaucoup

My wife and I are in Paris on vacation and food is always an important part of any trip we take. I did a lot of research on restaurants prior to our arrival in Paris and we had lofty expectations for L’Abeille. The restaurant did not deliver, especially for one with two Michelin stars. The level of service was just off this evening. The waiters were running around all evening and just couldn’t keep up with the number of patrons in the dining room. We had to make repeated requests to get our check and routine tasks like taking away our plates when finished and refilling water glasses were not fulfilled. Now the food.... While the presentation was very good, the meal was not only unmemorable but the flavor profiles were terrible and the food was bland. Yes, the prices were very high ($75 euros for an appetizer and $90 plus euros for an entree) but we don’t have a problem with this as long as the meal is fantastic. I can’t understand why this restaurant has any Michelin stars. I would really like to say good things about our experience but I cannot. We would certainly not return.Dear Std63nyc,Thank you very much for your lovely review on our Tripadvisor page following your dinner in our two Michelin starred restaurant L’Abeille. Please accept my personal apologies. We would like to exchange with you. Please feel free to contact Joseph Desserprix, The Restaurant Director, by email at [email protected] sincerely hope to welcome you back soon.Best regards,Guy BertaudGeneral Manager
