I'm most definitely a fan of eating local when travelling anywhere. We happened upon this spot with reading any reviews or knowing anything about it. I loved that there was outside seating and indoor seating. The music was good, the service was great and the food was amazing. We both couldn't even finish our meal but we wanted to. Definitely recommend this joint if you are hungry and want good food and good service!

Went with friends and decided to sit outdoors on the deck seeing it was a cool night. Friendly waitress however she didn’t quite know proper pricing on the menu. Had to question her about some charges. She said she was mistaken about our side dishes coming with our order. Was even changed by a side of bbq sauce. Anyhow, taste of food was good. We had gator bites which were tender and not gamey or tough. No complaints about taste of main dishes (burger, shrimp skewers, lobster po boy). Portion of side dishes could have been bigger considering we were changed.

Showed up and the place was full. We were told we would be next to be seated and to wait outside. 10-15 minutes go by and then they seat another group that showed up after us instead. Disappointed because we like the fish tacos here (although they are sometimes too salty). Went there every time we go to Johns Pass, but based on this visit, never again.Hi I am so sorry for the confusion. We take full responsibility for the issue that happened with your group. The day you came we were unusually busy for a tues afternoon and a bit understaffed for the volume of people that showed up. Seating the other party in front of you was simply a mistake on our part. As you know from your many other visits we usually pride ourselves on customer service and would never never do this intentionally. I hope you reconsider you decision to never come back and give us another shot. Again apologies.

We had several people recommend Salt Rock Grill as a “must have” while staying in Indian Shores over the weekend for our anniversary. We were very disappointed in both the quality of food and service. The kids meals were mediocre at best. My triggerfish with lemon verbena cream sauce was okay and the baked potato was over cooked and not very enjoyable. My wife had the Rock the Boat entree and it was pretty terrible. Tastes like old seafood. Our server was absent most of the meal as he seemed very overwhelmed. He was kind enough to take the entree off of our bill which was very nice. We just don’t see the hype about this place. Probably wouldn’t return. Thank you for taking the time to write a review and for your honest feedback. Our owner Frank Chivas would like the opportunity to speak with you direct regarding your unpleasant experience. He has asked that you connect with him via cell or email (whichever you prefer) - he can be reached at 727-480-6704 or [email protected] - Thank you in advance!

Recommended by Yelp. We love the area. My husband ordered the blackened Shrimp Tacos with Slaw & sautéed spinach sides. He loved it allI ordered the Crab Cake & a cup of Grouper Chowder- oh Wow! Crab Cake was truly filled with Lump crab, more crab than filler- Yeah! The the Grouper Chowder was pretty amazing, I think I have a new favorite chowder. Thanks for the #fivebubblereview Karen. We are a scratch kitchen that takes a lot of pride in the food we serve. I'm glad you enjoyed everything and I look forward to having you back again.

Wahoo's Waterside Pub & Patio

Wahoo: A cry of accomplishment, nickname of the Virginia Cavaliers, a fish or a dandy beach bar and grill? All are correct but my choice would be Wahoo's Waterside Pub & Patio on Gulf Boulevard, Redington Shores.Wahoo's is a quaint, non-pretentious beachy spot serving really good grub, cold beer and wine topped off with friendly staff and patrons. This is a welcome relief from the ubiquitous tourist traps lining the beach. Wahoo's is perfect for locals and visitors in-the-know.There is a paper menu but your best bets are to be found on the daily changing chalk boards. If you are lucky you might snag a parking spot on Gulf Boulevard. We've only been lucky once. Usually we park in the free lot across the boulevard. Also, there are tables outside overlooking the Intracoastal.Did I mention this place ain't fancy? But, what the heck ... WAHOO!

Great food, relaxing casual atmosphere and gigantic frozen Margaritas - what's not to love? Our server, Amanda K., took great care of us, instantly took our drink orders and brought us a large pitcher of ice water which was greatly appreciated after a day on the beach in the hot Florida sun. Frozen Margaritas followed very shortly and were absolutely delicious. We both had the Chicken Club sandwich and everything was very tasty, cooked perfectly. No room for dessert for either of us as the meals were huge. The Seabreeze overlooks the Intercoastal waterway, great location especially if you want to sit outside on the patio. We'll definitely return. Keep an eye out for George, the resident seabird - he's a regular.Thank you for joining us, Shaun! We're so happy to hear you enjoyed a great experience, and we will be sure to share your compliments with Amanda. We are happy to hear George was nice this visit (He can sometimes be a little pushy for food..) and we hope to see you again soon!

Stopped in today for hubby's birthday lunch. As always greeted warmly when we arrived & seated quickly as we were there during a quieter time of day. Restaurant is popular & is usually busy. Stacey was our server & she was friendly & attentive. We enjoyed the happy hr special 2 for 1 drinks. My husband had the jalapeno encrusted grouper which was delicious & I had the conch cracker shrimp app with a side salad. I like that they let you make an app into a meal for only $4.95 more. The house salad came with jicama sticks on top which was a nice touch of added crunch. We always enjoy the food, service & atmosphere...just wish we lived closer... but it's worth the 1.5 hr drive from where we live!
