The perfect place to visit with sunshine and blue skies. Able to walk around the marinas, development and over to the Indian Ocean, all before lunch. Able to get a place, even on a busy public holiday. Orders at the bar. We've actually visited twice this weekend. Once on Friday for cocktails and a meal with friends then again today, Sunday, for a stop off when walking the dogs. Both experiences were really good. Sandra and her staff looked after us very well and were very friendly and attentive. We asked for a few minor changes to the meals and nothing was too much trouble, unlike The Boat who say it's 'impossible' to change wedges on a meal for chips.. Hmmm... That's just very very poor service and an even worse attitude. On Friday we had the pizza specials and the wasabi chicken and also the paella. Best paella that I have ever had, absolutely delicicious. Pizza base would have been a little better if a little crisper but still an 8/10. Wasabi was very good, huge portion for a light bite. Now then... The cocktails... Let me just say "YUMMY"... I'm so excited for next weekend when we will be back to try the ones we didn't sample! They were ALL very very good but our fave was the espresso martini... Lordy that was excellent!! Today we stopped off whilst walking the dogs as this is a dog friendly establishment, even going so far as to having beds for the dogs to use! How cool is that? Not that ours wanted the beds as they were too busy eating the healthy, home cooked biscuits they got. We had the tasting plate, which at $45 was a huge, delicious plate of sea food, chorizo, beautiful bread and dips etc. and also the lamb shank which had the most delicious gravy. Thanks for providing us with somewhere friendly and customer focused with excellent food and even better cocktails!

Decided on the spur of the moment to have some fish for dinner and this chippy is conveniently located in the nearby strip mall. Orders are freshly cooked while you wait (or you can phone ahead and collect) - we sat at one of the tables while it was being prepared. Our order of Cod and Snapper (there's also Shark/Spanish Mackerel/Barramundi/Whiting/Red Empreror) was large (2 pieces each) and tasty. Also it was without the heavy batter you tend to get in the UK. We only had fish so can't comment on the chips. It's obviously popular as on the early evening weekday we were there customers were in and out all the time. The young staff were cheerful and in my opinion it was a good value meal.

If you want authentic British chips, this is the place. Great sausage in batter, vegetable burgers, fish and of course the chips. Portions are large. We fed the family, 2 adults and 2 teenagers for under $50.00. Thatâs a rare in and around Perth. Top notch.

We regular have fish and chips from The Captains Table. We order the meal deal for two and add extra fish and $1.00 of chips to feel three Adults we all love our fish and chips dinner and it not over battered which I love.
