Busy place, had to wait a while for a table but service was very good once we sat. Wine menu has very reasonable prices with good variety. Food was very good overall. The Captain's Platter is great except for the "Fried Salmon" - just tasted bad, don't deep fry salmon!! Aside from this, meals were good. I had chicken over Rice and a Coastie Roll, both good.

This was my third fishing trip to Kodiak and once again our fish were cleaned and packaged and ready for pickup when promised. There were six of us total with four of us traveling together (the other two had their fish Fed Exed home) and it was great that our fish were in separate bags (three boxes) so when we got back from our trip, each person grabbed appropriate bags and were on their way home with their fish. Nice because it was about 95 degrees that day (in Grand Rapids, MI). Fish were still frozen solid. I never have to worry about getting fish back from Kodiak with Island Seafood taking care of it.

Inexpensive good sushi, right beside that coffee drive thru place and the uhaul. Really good alternative to the only sushi restaurant in town(which is not that good to be honest). Much cheaper and better quality. The girls that run that place are friendly too, as compared to the other place. eaten there twice now, really happy! pro-tip: call ahead and order this place gets busy 907-942-4445

i am still looking for really good fish and chips so i keep ordering it so far no luck gotta keep looking The cod under the breading was ok just very skinny pieces of fish the breading was not quite burned but close...the breading was also salty the place was clean and service was very good lots of people in there so maybe i just ordered the wrong thing
