I just wanted to sit at the sushi counter to eat but it was "reserved" but during my entire two hour stay whoever "reserved" the spot never showed up. Why couldn't you just let me sit at the counter? In fact all the other regular tables that didn't have patrons at them were marked "reserved" but didn't get filled. Who are all these ghost patrons making reservations?During my meal at my seat where the sun was in my eyes the service was agonizingly slow. Nervous waiters and waitresses (different waiter each time) brought out each painstakingly plated dish individually. The interior was a decoration disaster as well. The brick interior and pictures of Europe reminiscent of an Italian pizza restaurant or French bistro. Combine the brick interior and the Vespa pictures with their collection of anime figurines holding flags and you have one bizarre atmosphere that says anything but sushi restaurant. Bottom line the vibe is all wrong. I will say the food was decent and beautifully plated however you can find equivalent or better quality with better atmosphere and service nearby. Go anywhere else but this place.

Authentic, comfortable, welcoming, and affordable. This restuarant was one of our favorite experiences in Okinawa. I just wish we had discovered it sooner! We were fortunate to eat there three times in three very different situations, and each was great.The first was as a family of non-Japanese-speaking sushi-lovers. We ordered random items from the menu and had a fantastically fresh, beautiful meal. The next was a going-away dinner with two friends, both Japanese. We were honored to have them order for us, and the selections were perfect. We even had some things we had never eaten before, and every dish was delightful.The final time we visited was a large going-away party and both the food and the service were impeccable. The meal was beautiful and the private room was very comfortable.I regularly recommend this place to people who want an authentic (not Western style) experience.

We visited this restaurant because we wanted to have some okinawan food.The food is alright, but the service can be better.We stayed at the Vessel hotel, and it is a short walk from it.

You wont miss this restaurant if your passing by, as their is a huge lobster signboard which attracted us as well and place didnt let us down. Restaurant has a huge sitting and dont worry they will never run out of the lobsters as they have huge live tanks of lobsters. Their is a normal lobster and then their bred lobster which they claim has a much better taste. I tried both and truly speaking both tastes yum and fresh and was difficult to make out the difference but preparation was really nice. They bring the lobster in front of you before taking to kitchen for preparation. The restaurant offers a wide selection of good Sushi and Sashimi and other Japanese cuisine. It has a nice, quiet and cozy atmosphere tucked away in a corner of two streets, typical of okinawan restaurants.It is in the Sunabe district about 20min. walk from the American village.Very friendly and helpful service!

Surprisingly, this establishment run by the US military, is open to the public; no identification cards are required. Delicious Italian or American meals are served at a location along the East China Sea. Staff are friendly and efficient. And, you can sit indoors or, outside with a view of the beach. I recommend this place to all my friends, looking for a taste of America, without having the hassle of going on a base.

From the macaroni and cheese, voodoo rolls, and shrimp étouffée, this place is my favorite spot on island! The owner is funny and welcoming and the staff are great! I eat here at least once a week! The decor and atmosphere are fun, yet family friendly! For those interested in a good time, the bar has a good variety as well! If you live here or are just visiting, stop by, you will not be disappointed
