I went with a friend on a Saturday and ordered their 12oz burger. It had an odd taste which I think might have been oregano. Never had that in a burger before and didn't care for it. The fries were cold.It appears they were going through renovations, I'll chalk it up to that.

I've been here a few times before the fire, and this was my first visit to the new place. It's a local institution. Pros: staff, prices.Cons: parking, noise, lobster roll. The lobster roll consisted of overcooked meat, bathed in mayo. Truly nasty. The wings were meaty but with that nasty chemical sauce.

My dad and I were horrified with Arby’s fried Mac and cheese. But the Bedford does it right with two “buns” of fried Mac and cheese on their burger. It was really good and I wish my dad was still around to have tried as well. Alejandro was a great host too. Five stars!

We are a French inspired, Brooklyn Neighborhood Bistro. We serve our own twist on classic Bistro fare in a casual, relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy Brunch and Dinner service in our year-round indoor garden, cozy wine room or seasonal alfresco dining on our side

Went here for dinner with my family. Brooklyn has turned into a dining atmosphere. Many places can’t survive the high rents but I’m told Juliette has been there for many years and I can see why. We were promptly seated and ordered drinks. I tried a new one for me which was very refreshing. It’s called G and Tea. Overall the service was a little slow but we weren’t rushed soit was fine with us. However, not once did our waitress come back to the table to ask how everything was or to ask if we needed any refills on drinks, or if we wanted more bread, etc. The shrimp appetizer was my favorite. It came in a sizzling cast iron skillet with lots of oil, garlic and red pepper flakes. We dipped our bread into the oil, delicious. This is where we could have used more bread. I had the salmon. It was a large portion, done perfectly. The best was the last.. the creme burlee. It was creamy and a large dish. I would recommend this restaurant. I would have given it a five star except the service could have been better. The prices are to be expected for the location and quality of food. I don’t recommend bringing the kids.

A perfect mix of dive bar meets gourmet burger bar. It’s nothing fancy which makes it so much more amazing. The vibe here is awesome, from the music to the faux Louis Vuitton wallpaper draft system. Celine Dion pictures are plastered on the ladies room wall as an ode to her visit years back. The burgers are fantastic as well as the side like jalapeño Mac n cheese I and no they don’t have French fries. ...won’t miss them

We heard many great things about Torts. Unfortunately we were on a tight schedule and only stopped for a pre dinner drinks. We loved the feel of the place. The beers were outstanding, love the glasses. We saw table opposite us having good looking bread and butter so we couldn’t resist. It was delicious! We were early but it didn’t matter as there were already several people enjoying the hospitality and delicious beer. Will definitely return!
