Loved this outdoor spot, open all hours. Happy hour margs quite good, and staff was fun! Not fancy, but seems popular with the locals...and reasonably priced.

Great New spot on Crescent Ave, sister restaurant of Blue Water Grill.....A second floor restaurant in the Catalina Island Conservancy Building which is new itself...Recently constructed....Great views from tables near the windows and food is very good....But the menu is currently limited, probably because the restaurant is new and still getting its feet on the ground....Service is friendly and efficient and there is inside and outside dining. A definite recommend for lunch or cocktails during a visit to Avalon.

If Two Harbors is attempting to upgrade its offerings, Harbor Reef restaurant gives me hope. (Contrarily, it's little sister, The Commons breakfast/lunch spot adjacent to this full restaurant is just short of inedible, which was a surprising, disappointing contrast.)Harbor Reef had some of the most tasty fish offerings including some that were literally catch of the day. Fresh and delicious! Patrons were a colorful cast of fishing tourists from larger boats, regulars, mooring members, day hikers and salty campers...Regardless, wait staff was friendly and on their game. our Bartender was friendly and knowledgeable about the island. There is no food service so youâre allowed to bring in your own snacks. The bartender said they have live music Friday night.

Wowed by the reviews, came here expecting really good seafood. Unfortunately, all I can say is really great location! The steamed clams and mussels were overcooked and on the quite small side. Broth was fairly bland. Wedge salad was loose iceberg drenched in dressing - although the accompanying tomatoes and bacon were on point. Server never came back to check on us, refill water, or see if we wanted another round. Location is fabulous though. My two cents: come here for drinks before or after dining at the Avalon Grille across the street.We are sad to hear you didn't have the best experience we strive to give all of our customers.
