Venivo spesso a comperare delle vaschette di gelato in questa gelateria ma ho smesso da quando a fine Agosto ho trovato la gelateria chiusa per ferie.Ognuno con la propria attività fa quello che vuole ma chiudere una gelateria ad Agosto per andare in ferie e come se una stazione sciistica chiudesse a Febbraio per ⦠ferie. Liberi di fare quello che vogliono e libero io di andare adesso in un'altra gelateria di Mendrisio dove il gelato è buono e non chiudono nei mesi...caldi.

Mi sono fermato per una pizza in questo locale con nuova gestione.Devo dire che la pizza non era niente di che, ma quella sera c'era tantissima gente (nei paraggi c'era una festa della musica) e quindi probabilmente non è giusto giudicare la qualità del servizio e del cibo in una giornata così particolare. Riproverò.

I have eaten here many times when visiting family in Mendrisio. I have never had a bad meal yet. I have tried the turkish cuisine and have found each dish to be well prepared and very tasty. The pizza, again, is very tasty with good quality produce. You can dine either inside or in the summer there are tables and chairs set out in the square. The service has always been very good and the staff extremely pleasant and helpful.The pricing is reasonable for Switzerland. I would recommend this restaurant.

The restaurant/pizzeria is not easy to find. It is on th read from mendrisio to Rancate. It has good parking facilities. Annexed to the restaurant there is an indoor boccia ground.The pizzas are simply fantastic, but also the rest is very good. Try the deep fried fisch (fresh not frozen) or the pasta with seefood.Prices are the normal ones for the region, that means not expensive.

The menu has lots of options! Lots of different seafood dishes, pizza, pasta and others.Great place for a sunday lunch with family or with friends for a quick pizza after a soccer match!Service is good and waitress always friendly!What makes this place special is the freshness of the seafood, from "crudité" to "linguini all'astice".

For me the best place in the small city of Chiasso to eat a unforgettable Pizza or some great Pasta's and to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of this Snack Bar!Sometimes you can also find some excellent proposal of Asiatic food.Another northworthy thing is the great Lounge Music selection of the owner, wich create a soft and easy ambience! If you came to Chiasso you've to visit it!!!!

Carlinos Ristorante is walking distance from my favorite Hotel Garni Cento situated in the midst of central Chiasso right across the Italian border in Switzerland. Carlinos is a perfect destination for a relaxing and romantic evening or dinner out with the family. Serving specialty Italian pasta dishes and fantastic oven fired pizzas, I was delighted by the warm, welcoming staff. No one here spoke English but made every effort to accommodate our party. As an added bonus, there is an old fashioned pinball machine in one corner, which the locals refer to as "flipper"! This was my favorite restaurant in Switzerland. Carlinos in Chiasso is magnificent!!!!! Sent from my iPad

Location non eccezionale, in una zona e palazzo industriale, ma con ottima possibilità di parcheggio sul tetto.Posto senza fronzoli ma dove, ed è alla fine la cosa più importante, si è serviti in modo impeccabile. Pizze buone, pasta gustosa e in porzioni pantagrueliche e anche altri piatti interessanti.

Walking in the old neighborhood of Mendrisio, I was attracted by this property because it was crowded; which I think is mostly a good sign.As the heading says, this restaurant offers a wide selection of pizzas. But I wanted to try other dishes.So I ordered an appetizer, a main course and a dessert: "Tomino" cheese baked with grilled zucchini; risotto with apples and Taleggio cheese; nougat parfait. Everything was good or very good (except perhaps that the risotto was a bit too much salty for my taste).The service was courteous. As I said, the restaurant was packed: in particular there were large groups of families with children, perhaps because they were celebrating the last school day. Then I was afraid of being neglected and wait a long time. In fact I didn't wait little, but not even too much; and in any case the waiter spontaneously kept me aware about the progress of my dishes (I think this form of customer focus is important).The price for the foods I mentioned, plus a glass of good local white wine, and a water bottle, was over 56 CHF. A normal price for Switzerland, then high for most of the other European countries. But this is common knowledge. In any case, I recommend this restaurant.

It was recommended by our concierge and did not disappoint. Ample wine list we ordered octopus appetizer that was quite good and couldn't resist a pesto pasta dish and lasagne. All delicious. Lakeview dining with wonderful staff and a good meal. We had a lovely time.
