We ordered from Mahwah Pizza Master through GrubHub. The food was tasty, but the personal pizzas were cold. The problem was that we ordered a small antipasto that was missing. I called the restaurant and was told, "the driver is on his way back." I assumed the person who answered meant that the driver forgot to give it to us. When the driver had not returned 20 minutes later, I called again and this time the person who answered turned the call over to a manager. It turned out that the dish had been left at the restaurant. Then, the person stated that the problem was that my location was far from the restaurant. When I reminded him that he is the one who chose to be part of GrubHub, he just repeated that we were too far. Make sure to check your order upon delivery!!

Normally, my husband and I like this restaurant. However, yesterday I ordered a buffalo chicken personal pizza. It tasted like barbecue chicken. I mentioned this to the server and her response was, "We get this comment a lot". Well, if you get this comment a lot, then you should tell people this when they order the pizza that yours is made differently. I also mentioned that I could not see any blue cheese on the pizza. After a few minutes, she returned to state that the blue cheese was beneath the chicken, cheese and sauce. You could have fooled me! I guess the taste of the blue cheese was overwhelmed by the cheese, sauce and chicken.I would go back, but I would NEVER ORDER THE BUFFALO CHICKEN PIZZA!

I have been here with friends and each visit has been very satisfying! Menu contains a wide variety of Italian dishes...for small and large appetites. The pizza is always delicious, with or without a variety of toppings! I had a chicken/ arrugala panini and it was sumptuous! Sitting at the bar is perfect for meeting people, eating as a couple or just alone listening to the sounds. Wait staff is very friendly and wanting to please. Saturday nights are really rocking and very crowded so consider that if you want a quiet meal, because itâs not going to happen!! Overall, a Very Good Restaurant, highly recommend!

While the food is good, it's not worth tolerating the service. We were a table of ten, so I understand some difficulty, but not like this. We waited 15 minutes for a waitress who took our drink orders and was gone for another ten minutes. When she did return, she only brought half of the drinks, came back with all but one, then returned with the last. We waited another ten minutes before she came back to take our food orders. We specifically asked her if she wanted to know how the check was to be split before we started ordering. She did, and appeared to write that information down as she took orders. We waited about 15-20 minutes for our food, which is understandable with such a large party; however, only one or two entrees at a time appeared, and these were all served by different staff members. The food was good, although some had gotten cold as we waited for everyone to be served before we began to eat.After the meal, our waitress came to the table with one check. When we reminded her how the check was to be split, she began bringing one check to the table at a time, asking each person what they ordered before she went off to calculate the next check. The one-at-a-time routine began all over again as she took our checks. As usual with large parties, a gratuity of 20% had already been added to each check. I should have refused to pay it, but all I wanted was to leave.We wish you would have requested to speak to a manager.....The Mason Jar must apologize for the lackluster service....for whatever personal reasons our server had a melt down....One of our floor manager's helped out when she saw our server was not performing up to snuff...Next time you come in please ask to speak to me, Ira Kaplinâ¦..Again we know there was a problem, and hopefully it is now corrected....Thank you for your attention and letting us hear from you.

My husband took our extended family (9 of us) to Roxanneâs for my birthday dinner. They offer Family Style dining, so we ordered 2 bottles of wine, a few sodas, 2 Caesar salads, Vegetable Chips, Spaghetti and Meatballs, Sweet Italian Sausage with peppers and onions, Baked Ziti and Chicken Parmesan. We brought in a cake from a bakery. The food was excellent!! There was PLENTY, so we are looking forward to leftovers tonight. The service was excellent as well. We sat in the back room, which had tile floors. I will say that the floor was EXTREMELY SLIPPERY! It was like there was a coating on it. Iâm surprised no one fell, quite honestly. Other than that, the restaurant was great. This is a louder restaurant, so if you have a hard time hearing in loud places, this may not suit you.We valet parked our car. I've been going to Kinchley's Tavern for decades. If you are a connoisseur of thin crust pizza then this is the perfect place for you. The crust is almost like a crispy cracker with an awesome crunch. The toppings are always fresh, in particular, the pepperoni is outstanding. The service is Jersey so you better move in and out quickly and have your cash ready, especially on a weekend when the line is to the door.Also, if you plan to eat in on a weekend, get there early, it fills up fast.Order a pie per person since you will seriously eat one on your own!Finally, bring cash, no credit cards accepted.It's been a pleasure treating you to a wonderful experience for so many years. Our savory thin crust pizza will always be here for you to indulge in and satisfy all those pepperoni cravings. This place has the best pizza, hands down, anywhere outside of NYC. I also had a chicken and pasta dish that was out of this world good! Forgot the name, but it was chicken breast, mushrooms, roasted peppers over angel hair. Absolutely OFF THE HOOK!!! Fresh and hot!!! Go and give it a try, you won't regret it!
