Koggala is a small coastal town, situated at the edge of alagoon on the south coast of Sri Lanka, located in Galle District, Southern Province, Sri Lanka, governed by an Urban Council. Koggala is bounded on one side by a reef, and on the other by a large lake, Koggala Lake, into which the numerous tributaries of the Koggala Oya drain. It is approximately 139 kilometres (86 mi) south of Colombo and is situated at an elevation of 3 metres (9.8 ft) above the sea level.

Good pizza parlour, nice environment, tasty pizzas like in Italy. We tried the calzone and the bufalina once and the second time shared a vegetarian pizza with cheese and a salad. All food was delicious and dessert too. I recommend the affogato dessert which comes with real italian coffee. Thank you so much for a wonderful review! Both the pasta and pizza were good at this restaurant. The wine was better than most other restaurants too. It's down a side alley off the main drag so it was quiet. We had a lovely meal and would recommend.

So.. Iâve been spending a lot of time at Maivies - both alone and in larger groups. This amazing, friendly and cozy place is suitable for both. And they even do freaking delivery!! With the most welcoming staff and the, dare I say, most tasty pizza in Southern Sri Lanka, I would most definitely recommend a visit. Go see for your self!Hi Ida, thank you for taking the time to drop us a review- we loved being able to serve you your fav pizza - number 5 no cheese extra feta if I remember correctly. The view was gorgeous, we came right at sunset and it was amazing. It is lovely sitting right at the beach, and it is very calming. Great service, and food. The pizza is fresh and delicious, and the put your own toppings is a great feature.

Celebrated birthday dinner with my wife. The bruschetta was beautifully presented and tasty (both the olive/feta and normal version) and the (large) pizza one of the best after a month travelling in SL - we took half a pizza home. Ambiance is comfortable and laid back and the pizza chef and wood fired oven located at the front of the restaurant the centre of attention. The relative expense is offset by good quality. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.

This was the poorest meal I had in the whole of Sri Lanka.. The shrimp gnocchi did not smell fresh, the hummus was no good at all... the vegetable was cold and the pasta is not homemade (as the pictures indicate).And to top it off, they prepared the food topless.. talk about hygiene.Sad to say that I do not recommend this place to anyone!Hello, we are sorry to read these hard words.Just to be clear, we buy only fresh shirmp everyday, the hummus is our style hummus, we usually serve vegetables cold cause people like it, and last, we serve pasta homemade only on request.Anyway, we don t pretend to be perfect, we apologize for our mistakes and we try to do better everyday, learning from mistakes.We woud like to suggest you, next time, if you don t like something, you can tell directly to us. Very friendly staff. Nice seating area on the first floor. We ordered the pizza (rosso). As i am used to italian pizza, i would have prefered less on the pizza (all that cheese was just too much...although it was good mozzarella). We also had the jackfruit tacos (3pieces), which were good but seemed overpriced for what was offered.Hi 134christianz,We source locally produced mozzarella cheese which is of very fine quality. We aim to support local suppliers as much as we can but also import some things we can't do with out such as our fine Italian pepperoni.Come back anytime!LSTD>
