Koggala is a small coastal town, situated at the edge of alagoon on the south coast of Sri Lanka, located in Galle District, Southern Province, Sri Lanka, governed by an Urban Council. Koggala is bounded on one side by a reef, and on the other by a large lake, Koggala Lake, into which the numerous tributaries of the Koggala Oya drain. It is approximately 139 kilometres (86 mi) south of Colombo and is situated at an elevation of 3 metres (9.8 ft) above the sea level.

We stayed in galle for 3 nights this week,we visited Chambers having never tried Moroccan food, ordered chicken took and vegetable tagine and for starters chicken spring rolls. The food was absolute mouth watering,could not have said a bad word about it. Everything had enough flavour and taste, cooked to perfection. Chambers has made me and my husband now Moroccan food lovers. The service was quick and the staff were so friendly. Also the setting of the restaurant was so pretty, and romantic. Unfortunately was our last night in galle otherwise would have definitely gone back. By far the best food place there. Also they offer halal option.P.s thanks to the honest owner who followed me and my husband a few streets away in the rain, to give us money we had accidentally dropped in the restaurant. Would recommend this place to all if you want a lovely cooked meal and warm and friendly environment

Found this lovely place in Ahangama, on the beachside perfect for sunset evening ! Amazing food and super stunning girls running the property!! deffently a place to stay if you come to SriLanka and you want good vibes! They are open from 12:00 to 21:00 pm so make sure you plan your trip and include this place on your list ;) 100% worth it ! Good luck girls !

This is the best dinner on Sri Lanka what we had. Food was perfect and als service was on top level. We had pasta and fish both was great and fresh food. This was the poorest meal I had in the whole of Sri Lanka.. The shrimp gnocchi did not smell fresh, the hummus was no good at all... the vegetable was cold and the pasta is not homemade (as the pictures indicate).And to top it off, they prepared the food topless.. talk about hygiene.Sad to say that I do not recommend this place to anyone!Hello, we are sorry to read these hard words.Just to be clear, we buy only fresh shirmp everyday, the hummus is our style hummus, we usually serve vegetables cold cause people like it, and last, we serve pasta homemade only on request.Anyway, we don t pretend to be perfect, we apologize for our mistakes and we try to do better everyday, learning from mistakes.We woud like to suggest you, next time, if you don t like something, you can tell directly to us. A bizarre Italian indoor / outdoor restaurant with authentic Italian food, perfect portions and reasonable prices.Approached through what appeared to be a combination of secret doors, the dining area is mainly in an enclosed full glazed stand alone room, set within beautiful gardens. We had one of our best dinner experiences at this unique restaurant.The food is creative, special, interesting and above all absolutely delicious!The facilities are beautifully designed and maintained, the place feels clean, organized and homey. The staff and the chef were incredibly nice and friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we have a perfect dinner experience.Highly recommended - don't leave Sri Lanka without trying it at least once.

We loved our dinner at the handsome sardine, so much so that a group of us went back the next day for lunch too!The food was brilliant, especially when we were such large party. The starters are extraordinary, the curry was divine and if you want more of the Mauritian/Sri lankan take on pub grub then that was fab too. Service was good and the value for money is also great.We loved the animals in the place too and fell in love with the pregnant kitties.
