This would be great pizza if it were the 1970s, and your other options were Little Caesarâs and Dominos. However, in the 21st Cenrtury, there are so many better options, even among national chains. Visitors to Chicago who feel compelled to try Chicago deep dish will find it here. Just donât confuse it with GOOD pizza. Hi Eric, we are sorry to see you had a disappointing experience with us. Romano's has very good Italian food prepared from scratch with love. The pizza is now my "go-to" place for great tasting thin crust with FLAVOR!!! Additionally, I love the Arancini's as I buy several to go and later consume with meat sauce!!! Finally, the people are very friendly and attentive!!If for no other reason, try the pizza, you may find a new "go-to" spot for pie!!

While we came ostensibly for the gluten free options, the overall food experience was wonderful. My GF loved the separate menu and all the choices. She asked if they could make something NOT on the menu, Shrimp Parmesanâ¦.turns out they could and she loved it...pasta was served on the side. On the non-GF front, I couldnât decide between the eggplant parmesan and Rigotoni Boscaiola, so I order half portions of each! I loved them both. The GF clams were more breading than clams, but it was nice to have the GF option. We hope to be back here soon. GF bread and deserts also available.

Purchased family salad, small Special...deep dish and small half cheese half pepperoni and sausage.Environment very nice, very busy! Waitress was okay, but not terribly attentive... but pleasant.For me, the flavors were bland and not aggregate, seemed each ingredient was unrelated to the sum of the finished product. Like eating layers of separate ingredients. Crust was biggest disappointment... very bland, texture hard, not soft or chewy, flavorless. Presentation was wonderful, just didn't live up to expectations. Probably would never return... however, I must be alone in my feelings as the restaurant was full with people waiting to get in.

I know the hotel dining experience has been elevated. They used to be a necessary evil and only because it is easier then going out. Not anymore. And Chicago Fire Pizza is a case in point. Service from start to finish was excellent. The food was delicious. The drinks on the mark. I started with the Woodford Manhattan. Well prepared by the bar. I then had their house white with the risotto bites. Hardly bites. Three good size risotto balls with a flavorful marinara sauce. I had one. Wanted to save room for pizza and salad. I moved to the house red for my spinach salad and 8-inch Mediterranean pizza. I had leftovers for each. The spinach salad was flavorful, well-balanced and dressed. The pizza had a perfect char, nice crust and tasty toppings. The only slight negative is the lighting. What is up with the darker âambiance?â I passed on dessert.I will return and sample more options. I encourage you to do so.

After waiting 19 minutes and flagging down 3 people...finally the 4th stopped and saved us from leaving and never coming back. Geo wasn't supposed to be our waiter but took our drink order and our food order when we told him we were sitting there for 19 minutes. Rebbecca also stopped by and made sure we had our drinks asap and our food order was out fast. I gave Kings an average (instead of a poor) because we really did enjoy the burgers. I am still really disappointed on the lack of the first 3 people caring that NO ONE was taking care of us. It was not packed, a little busy, yes, but there was still open tables. I assume more for locals than travelers, but my wife found this place when room service failed to answer our phone calls. hey delivered a great home made lasagne meal, so the next day we drove to the location to try some of their other food. We tried their Stromboli and other sandwiches and enjoyed them enough to visit them on our third and final full day as well for pizza. The staff was pleasant and the prices very fair. The drive from the airport hotel where we stayed was about 3 miles or so, but very well worth it. If in the area, I would stop in again.

We visited Giannini's last Sunday for our 45th wedding anniversary and I must say we were throughly impressed with both the quality of the food and the exceptionally warm and gracious service we received. Our party of 18 had a wide range of dishes and everyone was impressed with their tasty authentic Italian choices, such as baked lasagna, chicken francese, gnocchi in vodka sauce, ravioli with meat sauce, etc. The thin crust pizza I tried reminded me of the original Chicago style pizza that was prepared at the same location years ago as Pete's Pizzzeria, my father's place in the 1960's-1980's. I would definetly recommend Gianni's for an exceptional Italian dinner to everyone! Salute Gianni's!

The pizza at this restaurant is absolutely delicious! The ingredients are fresh and full of flavor. My person favorite is the Buffalina pizza and my boyfriend loves the Tres Carne. Also hands down the best cannoli I have ever had in my life (and I've been to Italy). The fries are delicious as well. I can't say enough good things about this place. If you're debating on trying this place don't wait any longer! Also the pizza reheats really well so you can always take leftovers home and enjoy the pizza again!
