Donât know how long Mi Pueblo has been in Venice, but it has been here a long time. Service is excellent and food is prepared and served promptly. On the lunch menu, you can pick two items for $9.50 and that is a good deal. My wife had the taco salad which she said was not very hot. I had the beef taco and the enchilada, both were somewhat bland, but not bad. Food, tax, tip and a couple of Modellos were about $30. A good lunch.

3 couples went there for dinner. I had pork chimichanga and it was like they cooked it way to long. Crust was very hard and pork inside was over done. It was very hard and chewy. Everyone in the group gave it at best a rating of 2. The service was just ok except the waitress gave us the wrong bill.First time there and we all agreed that we would not be back

Had supper there this evening. They do not serve water with their meals, so you have to either buy water or buy soft drinks or beer. It is located in the back of a grocery store and that says a lot about the atmosphere. There was music blaring and the coolers for the store and restaurant were noisy, so conversation was impossible. Food was decent, but when you add the extras that normally are included in the price, it was a bit expensive, especially for a restaurant in the back of a grocery store. Staff was not overly friendly either. There are better Mexican restaurants in Venice with better food, prices and atmosphere. We won't be back.

The service was awesome but I wasnât a fan of my chicken tacos as the chicken was very dry, tho I did have a ground beef taco and it was pretty good, great sauces , next time Iâm in the area Iâm def going to try it again in hopes it was just an off night .
