Taco Bell is my kind of Mexican food. My wife laughs at me because likes other local Mexican restaurants in the area but Taco Bell just doesn't fit her definition of Mexican food. This is my American/Mexican food.

Fairly new restaurant about 30 days since Grand Opening. Food is good, similar to other local Mexican restaraunts. Service was quick & friendly. Atmosphere is upscale and clean. Seating is comfortable. Entrees are served very quickly. Enjoyed the chips & salsa. The servers are attentive The reason for the 4 star rating is due to the food temp. Itâs really not hot assuming a microwave was used to heat/ reheat the food. Didnât get a take out menu I forgot this trip.....

Don Jose is my family's favorite restaurant! We are always greeted by friendly employees and served fresh,hot,delicious food! The salsa is my favorite in all the world! I could literally drink their salsa (but that would be weird)! Lol! The restaurant has a colorful,fun,laid-back atmosphere and we ALWAYS leave satisfied with the entire dining experience!

Visited on a Tuesday evening (5:30 pm). It was a bright sunny evening and about 90F outside. Almost immediately upon entering the place, you get the feeling that you are in a basement as it is considerably darker than the outside. Does not send the message of a bright, fun place to be. The place was mostly empty but for 1 or 2 tables that had customers in it. Chips and Salsa were quite good and tasty. The Salsa was good but would have been even better with Cilantro in it that would have given it some freshness. Service was prompt and quite friendly. No complaints there. I ordered the Carne Asada plate with extra beans and it came with a side of Guacamole and Pico de Gallo. The meat was tender and well flavored. There was plenty of grilled onions that went with the meat that added to the taste. Overall was quite happy with the food. The place looks a bit run down and seems like it has seen better days.

We had a meal at Taco Rio while in town for a softball game. We had heard about it for years and it didn't disappoint. It is a great locally owned tradition in Paragould. The restaurant was clean and the service was friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and the price was very affordable. I love the burritos and tacos.

So me and my buddy from work went here for dinner. Our waitress seemed like she was 13. But that would have been ok if she was a decent server. Trained properly. But she wasn't. Let our drinks sit empty. Messed up the order. And once told about the mess up she only corrected half of it. Doesn't seem to know her own menu. Had hickies on her neck. Actually told us we could pour our own mild salsa from a nearby pitcher if our cup ran low. Not that I'm handicapped but i was paying to be served, not serve myself. I could however have lived with all of that if it had not been for the food. My buddy thought his food was ok, other than the order mistakes. I ordered chicken fajitas. I've ordered this dish from 100 Mexican restaurants and even made them at home for myself. They brought me a boneless chicken breast cut up into strips, seared and layed it down over plain onions and green peppers. No olive oil sauce, seasoning, celery. The meat didn't look prepared for fajitas comparable to anywhere else in the world ive ever ordered them from. I would never eat here again and if you do, you better stay away from the chicken fajitas or else your going to be upset.
