"Tub" has no atmosphere, but the food is outstanding - for cheap tacos, burritos, etc. It's one of those places you probably wouldn't go to unless you knew about it, but most who know about it just love it. It's another place I have to go whenever I visit KC.

We met the chef and he is rightfully proud of his beautiful restaurant. Large variety of food from different cultures - Mayan, Puerto Rican, etc. It is all cooked where you can view it and watch the process.Prices were high for lunch ($10-$15). One of our group had the street tacos. He said they were delicious and I believe there were 4-5 that came as his order. Homemade mole sauce was on another meal, and the final one was chicken with onion, tomatoes and peppers.

they dont put knives on table. when we asked after a long time the waitress brought one (for 4persons). food also took long. only 1 waitress seemed to be running around.

Located in the River Market area, this small restaurant has just been featured on the Food Networkâs Diners, Drive-inâs and Dives. We opted to sit outside to enjoy the weather. I ordered the Baja wild codtaco which was wild caught Pacific cod lightly battered with cole slaw, onions and topped with salsa verde....best fish taco EVER! Moving on to my carne asada taco which had premium hand cut steak with onions, cilantro and salsa verde...pure heaven. I saw other people were sipping on mock cocktails so of course I had to try the passion fruit extract, pineapple juice with soda one, 24 ounces for only $5! Delicious!! Our server with the English accent was just fun.Prices were very reasonable, a hidden gem!!!!
