Having read the reviews, decided to visit.Difficult to find...you have to enter via the main entrance of a hotel (having asked the doorman if it was there) and walk all the way through and out to the pool area.Service - extremely slow, impersonal, in fact we were ignored for the majority of the time we were there. All of the staff were totally disinterested in us,we now realise why...18% service charge already added to the bill.Food - small portions and bland. Managed to flag down a passing staff member to order coffee after our meal. Took about 20mins to arrive and was lukewarm at best. One of them had been spilt on the saucer...no apology, no nothing. Despite the temperature of the coffee, it was the tastiest thing we had.Wouldnt recommend and wont go back.Tracy, we are saddened to hear you did not receive the 5-star experience our team strives to provide. It would mean a great deal to us to have a chance to address your feedback personally, and we ask that you please email [email protected] and include your contact information and availability. Thank you.

Decided to try for my birthday dinner while in Miami and glad we did. From the atmosphere, to the drinks, food and service, this place is fantastic. Outdoor seating is available, but due to some scattered showers in the area, we chose inside. The selection of Tequilas is amazing, if this is your drink of choice, you will not be disappointed. Food was delicious and the service is top notch. Nice relaxed atmosphere conducive for conversations and family time. So happy to hear you had a great time on your birthday! We do try to do our best in everything and it shows :D We hope to see you soon We have great happy hours Monday- Thursday bar only all night

My family and I went out for drinks when meeting up and Jose was a great bartender and host for our visit to La Cervecería de Barrio. The food (guac, chips, quesadilla and burrito) were SO delicious. The drinks, margarita and mojito were very good too. We will definitely join Jose and his team at La Cerveceria de barrio once again, and many more! Fun place and enjoyable environment. PLUS great music! daraalberti,Thank you sincerely for taking the time to write a review about your experience at La Cerveceria de Barrio. We had a quick dinner at the Collins avenue branch, GREAT service, first time here so the waitress was kind to answer all our questions. The price was GOOD we had 4 tacos 3.5$ each + guacamole + melted cheese sause both were delicious and came with extra price (2$ each) and Blue Mesa chips(6$) which was absolutely AMAZING.Food quality was TOP!! homemade and freshly served. The restaurant Had a REALLY NICE atmosphere. However the only downside we were sitting outside fighting with insects it was 27° Celsius and we choose to stay outside so fair enough can't blame them.

What a disaster. I came to this venue with a group of around 25 people. We were seated around 830PM, and our menu was fixed, with appetizers and choice of entree.Appetizers consisted of chips with salsa, chips/bread with guacamole, and ceviche. The chips came out first with the salsa. The chips came in small sized cups, and was to be shared with 4-5 people, it appeared as they only brought out 5 cups. The chips and guacamole came out about 20 minutes later. This plate also had to be shared with 4-5 people, and there weren't enough chips as well. The ceviche came out last, about 90 minutes after we had seated. The ceviche was also a joke, and it came out with ceviche on 6 spoons. Literally 6 spoonfuls of ceviche, and various types of ceviche, but no clue as to what was what. Needless to say, not much of an appetizer.Around 1020-1030 (restaurant closes at 11), dinner was served, however, several plates, including mine and the host's was served much later than everyone else. People were done eating by the time we got our plates. And because it was a fixed menu, it wasn't like we ordered something different and complex. All the entrees were a disaster. The Lomo was served without rice, since they seemed to have run out of rice (like wtf? and it wasn't even busy on the Thursday night we went). The mahi-mahi was served without rice for the same reason. We were given salads as a substitute. The seafood was severely overcooked. The shrimp was chewy and the fish needed a knife to cut through. The only saving grace for the entire evening was that the wine actually tasted good. There are some good Peruvian places in Miami to eat. This is not one of them.
