I went to El San Jose with my son after prom with mom for dinner and we enjoyed our dinner and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant.

Senior Salgado does an amazing job of making sure that each customer feels like the most important person in the room. In addition to the VIP treatment, the food is amazing!! Or in Spanish, La Comeda es muy rica!! I highly recommend the fajitas (the portion is huge) which is large enough to feed the hungriest of people or even to share with someone else. I regularly share the fajitas for two with three other people and have more than enough to leave stuffed. If you don't like fajitas the tortas are very good also. They are very authentic and remind me of the ones that I had in Mexico City. The restaurant is currently undergoing some renovation but don't let that deter you. The food is totally worth any inconvenience. I would recommend, however, that if you are looking for a quiet family meal that you go on a day other than Friday night because the restaurant can be very loud on Fridays due to Karaoke.

Wow!! What a surprise this place turned out to be. From the looks of the exterior we were wondering what the inside might be like - a dump? Upon entering, we were pleasantly surprised. The interior is very nicely decorated. We were there for lunch and were seated quickly. Salsas and chips appeared in no time and we were pleased that they gave us a hot salsa, as well as, a mild salsa which allowed us to have as much heat as we wanted by mixing them. The salsa was very good as were the chips. We both ordered a lunch special and were quite surprised to see how much food was on the plate - a lot! The drink cups are very large which keeps you from having to ask for frequent refills. The food had an excellent flavor. Neither of us had anything to complain about, which is usually not the case. There always seems to be something that could be better when we eat out. This was just a great place for Mexican. We'll definitely eat here again.

This is the best mexican food restaurant I have found. My family loves mexican food, so we've eaten our share and by far this place keeps us coming back. There are other mexican restaurants in town but Jazmin's is the only place you'll see other Hispanics eating. That should tell you something right there. The staff is always very friendly and attentive, the food is consistently good and fresh, the dining area is very clean. They don't mind customizing your order either. If you want to adventure off the "american" mexican food, They have traditional dishes that are amazing and you won't find at other similar places.If you don't like karaoke you will want to go early on Thursdays because for dinner time, they have open mic karaoke.
