My husband and I have eaten here several times. It's larger inside than it appears on the outside. It is in the same shopping center as JC Penney's. The staff are nice and friendly. They keep our drinking glasses full and after they serve the food, they stop by several times to be sure everything is OK. I like the Chicken Cancun and Chicken Vegetarian ($9.50 each) because they contain vegetables like steamed broccoli, yellow squash, and zucchini, and aren't overloaded with cheese. Plus they taste very good. I wish they were a little less expensive.Yesterday I had a chicken torta ($6.75); it was delicious; so much better than any chicken sandwich I've made at home. It contains chicken, avocado, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, onions, and jalapeños. It's so large that half of it came home for another meal. My husband enjoyed the Pollo Asado ($9.25). The chicken was very moist, the portion was generous, and the sauce was salty (which he likes). It was served with rice, guacamole salad, and flour tortillas. We will gladly return to Martin's.

Went for lunch, restaurant was not busy at all. Food was decent. Waitress was inattentive. Brought a drink with a top for my daughter but no straw to drink it through and was no where to be found for quite a while. Plus I spotted a roach on the wall. Not something I want to see a few feet away from where I just ate.

I heard about this new restaurant from friends but found no info on TA. Stopped in for lunch. Surprise to see some Central American dishes on the specials menu. Tried the baleados along with a soft taco. Both ordered with lengua (tongue) for those not used to it. Both were delicious. The soft taco didnât have the usual local Mexican toppings of lettuce,tomato, cheese etc but had a large amount of cilantro and sauces on the side. The baleados is a huge folded tortilla that looks like a crepe but filled with meat, cheese, avocado and scrambled egg, yes scrambled egg. It was delicious. Reminded of my travels to Guatemala.Downside is they donât have their beer or wine license yet so I missed the cervesa that would have complimented the food. Very basic setting but I will definitely go again!

We love Mexican food, but this dinner was a complete flavorless disappointment. We started with the table side made guacamole, which was actually pretty good but expensive at 12.99. The dish would have been great if the chips had been any good. I ordered nachos, which had no flavor, perhaps the most bland nachos I have ever had. My husband ordered one of the special plates, lots of food but no flavor. Service was slow, no one came by to offer a second drink or to see it our meal was any good. Will never go back.

Beaufort now has two Nopaleras. The new one, on Sam's Point Road on Lady's Island may even be better than the Ribaut Road location. It has been awarded the title, "Best Mexican Restaurant in Beaufort" and I wouldn't argue. Décor is fresh, food and service are great, altjough some of the wait staff are better than others. Food is tasty and well-presented.

Other than seating location, the meal with grand kids went well. Good place to take kids for casual dining. Servers were attentive to the grand kids and very good overall. Food was quite good with generous portions. Reasonably priced beer, wine and cocktails. Service was MUCH BETTER than the nearby La Napalera.

Took forever to get a drink, this place is way too bright, turn the lights down, please.....its busy, food is just ok, my fish and shrimp taco were just put not he plate, looked like a pizza, it was alright...nothing exciting.....pork carnitas were good....
