We were a group of four adults and two children and came for lunch. It was just after Christmas and it was very busy.All adults went with the special menu. I shared a black pasta paella (named fideuá negre) as a starter and was thoroughly impressed. The dish could easily have passed for a main and I've unfortunately paid more for a paella with significantly less seafood.The main was also very good, but at that point I was actually quite full...The menu included red/white wine or cava. The cava was great with the seafood.To management: Next time I'm in Segur I will definitely visit.I tried in fact to visit the next day which was a Monday and it was closed. Call ahead to avoid disappointment.

Used to be one of THE places to eat and be seen in in Segur .Had a lunch there and the simplest of dishes, roast chicken was as dry as a biscuit.The waiter proffered no help in the Catalan written menu at all.It was clear we were struggling and when we asked in Castilian what Puerro was, he replied in Catalan it's a Puerro! Cocky Pratt I thought.Had its day, a handful of affluent pensioners keeping it goingâ¦

NoisySo much table for that small restaurant, the ceiling is not so much high and the noise is insupportable, forget to spend a comfortable talk while having a relax dinner, you are waiting for the bill to escape outâ¦.The service was poor, waiter ask for warm or cold water, later the serve that they want. The beef ordered low cooked looks like 2 hours on grill.The meal was quite good, and at the end itâs cheapâ¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦â¦

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at El Rodavi. Old world splendour surrounded by modern housing. We had the excellent menu laboural for 12.95 including wine. Lots of choices for the 2 courses. Friendly staff, mainly local customers at this time of year. A great experience and easy to recommend.Dear graham p, we appreciate that you invested your time to share your great experience in our restaurant. It fills us with joy knowing that you enjoyed our service. We hope to see you all again :)

My husband and I were driving from Barcelona to Tortosa in July and happened upon this marvelous little restaurant overlooking the sea. At the owner's recommendation we had a huge and succulent lobster, accompanied by a delicious chilled white wine, that became the best meal of our trip. We sat on the porch and enjoyed perfect service in a convivial atmosphere on the perfect July day. This is the sort of memory that makes travel so extraordinary. I highly recommend that anyone on this highway stop and find this remarkable spot!

The restarant is located on the boardwalk of Calafell. So there is always somethingbto watch. The staff speaks English and is efficient. The starters are meant to share. We made the mistake to choose each a starter and a main course. This was way to much. The starters are nice and inexpensive. The burgers have several toppings you can pick. The burger itself was a bit disappointing. It was not seasoned and had a lack of flavor. However we had a great time, and that is the meaning of a night out. If you do not want to have to wait in line make sure to be there at 8pm sharp.

Un menú del dÃa sensacional, buenÃsima la comida y bien cocinada, buena cantidad, buffet de postres y para beber mi mujer pidió un tinto de Verano y le trajeron una botella de 1 litro de "La Casera"! Atención amable y rápida, y la mar de fresquitos con el calor que pegaba. Y todo ello por 12 â¬. No me extraña que estuviese completamente lleno. Sin duda repetiremos siempre que estemos por la zona.

Apart from being a lovely place to eat, this is also a really good wine shop. The variety is almost overwhelming. There are extremely reasonable wines and cavas made by the Celler itself plus a full range from young and inexpensive to advanced wines, cavas and liquors. There is also a range of local products, such as ham, cheese, honey but also soap. The owners are lovely and happy to try to speak English. Thank you for your opinion!! We now improve a better cava that you may taste!! Our English is not at the same level as the cava!! Hope to see you soon!
