Fantastic food, nice atmosphere! Although the published menu was almost typical for Spain, with the add-on with the crepes, the menu of the day was out od this world. Great options, amazingly cooked, really finger-licking!!

Excellent red house wine, starters and desserts very good, presentation of dishes very good = far above average. Meat spanish style .. some like it others not. Calamares ( i was there in sep too): I was not impressed. Service fast but sometimes a bit amateurish: put the bread basket at the corner of the table far away from the guest .... give you the remainder of a bottle when you ask for a second glass of wine, Note: the meat in Spain is cut different than in most northern countries, you like it or you do not like it. Ask for the menu and order accordingly. Starter plus meat plus dessert plus 2 housewine think in terms of Euro 35-40 per person. If you want to eat cheap go somewhere else. But you will miss the entrance and desserts.. really good. Breakfast ok. Or buffetstyle or rather basic at the bar.

La Font, in Turis is a restaurant with excellent service, and good food. Mostly you need to book a table as it gets very busy, lunch times and evenings. There is outside drinking in the summer months, but not later than October. Lunch times there is usually Menu of the day, and evenings A la carte. Reasonably priced.

We dropped in for lunch and was made very welcome. The food was well prepared and was quite tasty. Lunch for two was an unbelievable 13 euros which included drinks. It was not menu of the day just a main course and drinks and fresh bread. The location is on the main street in Alborache.

I have had a drink and snacks here before but never a meal and I went particularly to have their traditionally cooked paella. Unfortunately all their paella's contain rabbit, which I have chosen not to eat.I decided on the barbecue lamb and it came with freshly made salad and a basket of bread. As a second choice, it was great and I enjoyed every mouthfull. I will certainly return and would encourage anyone who wants some traditional food in a great location, to visit, but you will need local help in order to find the restaurant. Its well worth the effort as its a hidden gem

On our way back from a tour of vineyards Utiel-Requena, looking for a decent restaurant and had the luck to find this in what looked like a small town. Decor was light bright and slightly surreal. Waiter and subsequent waitress were pleasant friendly and efficient. Tapas starters were delicious and plenty of variety, particularly recommend the ravioli! The choice of arroz dishes was extensive. We chose prawns and rape melosa and it was flavourful. Because we couldn't resist the starters we couldn't finish the rice but what remained was distributed in two containers for us to enjoy later at home. That was without asking. After sampling good wines earlier in the day we chose more good quality wine which was readily available. The restaurant was almost full on a Thursday lunchtime and it's not small. Clearly it is appreciated by the locals and perhaps those in Valencia who are prepared to travel for something very good.
Fabulous restaurant. We used to visit in its previous location. This venue is bigger. Staff and owner just as friendly. (we don't speak Spanish and they have limited English) we got by. The food was as always amazing. Definitely worth travelling to.
We went here as part of a tour. The decor is beautiful but the waiting staff were very rude. Refusing to move a chair for a couple to sit together, asking for butter with bread was a huge inconvenience. We had three types of paella. Squid ink was my favourite. Very nice. The vegetarian was okay while the chicken was quite dry. Definitely would not go back to this restaurant.
