Sango Kura is the areas only true Izakaya offering scratch made Ramen, sustainable Sushi, and traditional rice dishes. Sango kura is also Pennsylvaniaâs first and only Sake brewery. We are family friendly and have a fun rustic decor with a nature center a
I heard that it served Japanese street food. That sounded intriguing so I checked it out. The menu had a lot of choices, many familiar, some new. After having our questions answered, we chose a seat outside. The music was a little loud, but the choice (Black Moth Super Rainbow) was interesting. Our food was served and, even though we sat outside, the food server was pleasant and attentive. Inside the restaurant is a touch table with bones, plant material, and pelts. It seemed an odd thing to have, but I loved it. I only have minor complaints: too many dishes where pork was the only option, the kimchi wasn't spicy, and there were no diet sodas.

We love coming here as a family. The server is always so sweet and tries to make our daughter smile each and every time. The lunch specials are worth going for especially if you enjoy sushi combos or the bento boxes....definitely very good with prices. The handmade vegetable dumplings are so delicate and delicious....even if you're not into vegetarian appetizers, this one is worth getting for sure and is one of our favorites to add on to any of our meals.
