こちらの情報を見て、土曜日の昼過ぎにお邪魔致しました。先客がカウンターに4名程おりましたが混んではいませんでした。明石というとタコとタイをイメージしますが、鯛茶等のタイ料理があるわけでもなく、穴子料理が目につきました。取りあえず、タコの酢の物がありましたので注文しました。頭も頂くスタイルで、三杯酢が非常に合った美味しい一品でした。焼き穴子も脂がのっており上品な味で満足しました。握りはカウンターで食べていないので評価できませんが、ネタは良いものを使っているようです。ただ、普段すし屋のカウンターで食べている方でしたら、明石の店だからと言って特別な事は無いと思います。

取り引き先には連れて行ってもらいました。ここのお店は住宅街にひっそり佇んでおり知る人ぞ知る名店という感じです。 お店の隣りは活魚の大きな水槽かあり沢山の魚、エビ、タコがいました。（この水産会社の直営のようです）お店の1階は通常の店舗で2階が接待ようの個室となっています。今回は2階の落ち着いたオシャレな空間で和のBGMを聞きながらお寿司を頂きました。お茶を頂きます。この時点で既に普通の寿司屋じゃない事を予感させられます。お寿司がて出来ました。見た目をも美しくシャリが小さいこれぞ寿司という見映えです。定員さんからネタの説明がありました。（忘れました（汗））寿司の味はネタは新鮮で酢飯のふっくら感と味が丁度良く素晴らしく美味しいです。ぼとなくして茶碗蒸しが出て来ました。プリプリして魚貝の出汁？と塩加減が絶妙です。なんと明石のタコが入っていました。北海道でそこそこ美味しい寿司を食べていると自分では思っていますが、ここの寿司はかなり美味しいです。

Had akashiyaki as a snack. 10 pieces with soup for 600 yen. Higher price than other competitors around, but each piece is bigger.Tastes great - egg melts in the mouth, octopus is gummy.

地元の友人から、明石に来たなら明石焼きを食べて帰って下さい！ と言われ、色々調べてここに行くことにしました。お昼前の訪問だったせいか、店内は空いてました。アツアツの明石焼きは、王道のだし汁だけでなく、塩やソーズでも味わえたので、20個食べても食べ飽きませんでした。

La Shomon was an excellent choice. We had a group of 12 people and everyone enjoyed the meal and service here. Staff was very friendly and the beef was out of this world! Price was also very fair considering the quality of meat you're getting. Dry age wagyu was better than the Kobe imo but both was excellent. Thanks La Shomon for a great experience!

Decided to go over to Akashi during my last day in Japan to try the Akashiyaki there. The store is not too far from the Akashi station and along the way you may come across the market selling fresh groceries and fish as well as other stuff. The couple who run the place are very friendly and the man could speak decent English. Comes in 15 per order for 600 yen. The egg makes it special, soft and moist inside. Highly recommend.

Easy even without Japanese. Just point and a few moments later you'll receive 12 akishi-yaki. Couldn't decide which was better with brown sauce or without it, just make sure you dip into the broth with herbs. Great to have lunch after a stroll through the arcade. They sell the catch of the day. So better come early.

明石駅から徒歩ですぐ、新装なった駅前の一等地に開店。明石では「玉子焼き」と称しますが、明石以外では「明石焼き」という呼び名で通っていえるのではないでしょうか。蛸焼きを出汁につけて食します。出汁に三つ葉を入れると、香ばしさが倍増します。紅生姜を添えたい気分になります。

２０個６００円！大変リーズナブル。明石焼もふわとろ。店内の席数が少ないので、いちどに多くの客が入れないが、並んでまで食べる人たちの気持ちがよくわかるくらい美味しかった。
