rentrer de Lausanne arrêt bistrot ...chez Peppone,il fut un temps ou câétait bien meilleur, la c'est quelconque ,dommage,bref en tout cas pour la pizza c'est meilleur ailleurs , je connais en tout cas 3 endroits ou c'est mieux et pas forcément plus cher.sans regrets, c'etait moyen.

We're from the UK and visiting our son/brother who now lives and works near Vevey. Today was our last day out together and we initially stopped by for a light meal. However, when we saw the menu, we quickly changed our minds!Lovely selection of high quality home cooked dishes that even a larger restaurant would struggle to compete with.The star of show? Well, the fantastic ice creams, of course! Yummy!

a very helpful and friendly staff, lunch time had a choice of 3 menus, reasonable price the food was good served in a pleasant restaurant , one of our friend was a smoker and when the coffee came we ask if you could have it on the terraces, it was a very cold day and the staff had no problem bring it outside , blankets were provided, efficient service for a busy lunch time.Hi, hank you for taking time for such nice review. we had dinner on the terrace during one of the free concerts in the town and had a very nice dinner. My husband had the slow cooked pork in a beautiful creamy sauce with fries and vegetables and I had the king prawns risotto which was beautifully cooked (fresh) and creamy. the staff were very friendly and efficient (it was very busy due to the concert)Thank you so much for your postive comment. This place makes the best pizza in Yverdon. The quality and the price is incredible. However as mentioned in the title "don't judge a book but its cover" the area is hidden behind some not very good looking buildings but the pizzas are delicious and the service is friendly.

La grange recently reopened after complete refurbishment. The decor is nice and contemporary, looking fresh.The menu is very big, giving a long list of choices in many dishes. Too many things on offer usually means not very well prepared. We ordered a side of beef which wasn't cooked how we ordered, once it returned to our table after being sent back, the fries had just been reheated and were soggy with oil and the meat was super tough. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this place unless you fancy a pizza which are made in front of you. Dear Lulu,Thanks a lot for your feedback that I will share our chef.Indeed, it is important to have real feedback positive or negative and I have the feeling that yours was really what you felt, so i am really sorry that the way our meat was cooked didn't meet your expectations.Once again, I have to emphasize on the fact that also if our menu is really big, all our product are fresh adn i hope generally well prepared :-). For the fries I don't think they have been reheated because they would been Brown which, if I remember well was not the case in your plate. I know I will regret this review because nobody knows this place, and I really enjoy this situation.You should really pay it some attention next time you are in Yverdon.Csarda is a typical small local restaurant. Nothing makes it stand out, the location is not really good, it is too close to a main road, but at least parking is usually easy.Even inside, you won't be impressed by the decoration. it really looks bland and uninteresting.But they have some of the best meat in the whole town and even further than that.They also make very decent pizza and some good pasta or cheese dishes, but the reason why you want to eat there is meat.They make all the known variations of meat fondue, chinese, bourguignonne, bressane, tatar hat, name it ! Most of them are offered on an "all you can eat" formula, but what makes it really interesting is the sheer quality of the meat. It is gorgeous.They also make excellent skinny fries (matchstick size) with their meat which I always appreciate.The service is very friendly and the prices are fair.So, like I said, I know I will regret shedding some light on this little unknown gem, but go ahead ! try it, if you enjoy meat you will love the place.

We come here for lunch when shopping in Yverdon. Don Camillo is an unpretentious little restaurant with friendly staff and good food. They have a daily speciality (CHF 16.-) which is certainly good value for money. Our favourite from their main menu is Piccata. Have eaten here often and have never been disappointed. The atmosphere remains pleasant even when it's full at midday.

A pleasant surprise to find an authentic Italian restaurant upstairs above a bar / bistro below. The cuisine is authentic Italian with a couple of good tasting plates to share and we all had pasta as the main course which was well prepared , not swimming in sauce a and decent sized portions. A definite find and we will certainly return in the future. The restaurant is quite small so you should book in advance if possible. The wine list is limited but there are some good bottles of Italian wines available at fair prices. Le Bar du Coq offers good value for money and is obviously a success and the staff are happy to speak with their customers and explain some of the dishes if required.
