Sind oft und gerne dort gewesen, weil das Essen wirklich gut war und das Preisleistungsverhältnis passt. Pizzen und Nudelgerichte sind gut. Das Ambiente ist ausbaufähig, gemütlich ist anders. DrauÃen sitzt man an einer HauptstraÃe, so dass auch hier wenig Lust aufkommen kann länger zu bleiben. Parkplätze gibt es nur an der StraÃe und da braucht man Glück. Leider war beim letzten Besuch einiges nicht so gut. Von 4 Gerichten gab es 3 nicht mehr (wurde uns immer erst dann gesagt nachdem wir bestellt haben) Der Kellner ist nicht gerade freundlich und wenn mal 20 Personen da sind merkt man ihm deutlich an das er überfordert ist. Wir waren zu dritt und er hat uns 2 Speisekarten auf den Tisch geknallt. Die Tageskarte / Tafel hat er an den Tisch gestellt ohne Kommentar. Wenn wir etwas bestellen wollten gab es das nicht oder er meinte die Küche schafft es nicht weil eine Gruppe von 20 Personen da ist. Wobei es mir als Kunde eigentlich egal ist, wie viele andere Gäste da sind. Ich bezahle genauso für mein Essen. Somit gab es weder das Fischgericht von der Tageskarte, keine Pasta mit Shrimps und Tomatensuppe wollte er auch nicht annehmen. Wir haben dann 2 andere Vorspeisen bestellt und 3 Hauptgerichte. Die Hauptgerichte kamen nach knapp 40 Minuten, die Vorspeisen leider nicht. Besteck wurde als Haufen mitten auf den Tisch gelegt. Nach dem Motto nehmt euch was ihr braucht. Beim bezahlen fragte ich nach der Vorspeise und ob die heute auch nicht machbar sei. Die Antwort: wenn er die nicht in die Kasse eingibt, dann kommt halt nichts aus der Küche. Fertig. Keine Entschuldigung nichts. Schade, da die Chefin sehr nett ist und einem ein sehr familiäres Gefühl gibt. Der Kellner ist meines Erachtens dort völlig fehl am Platze, überfordert unfreundlich und dann noch arrogant und überheblich. So leid es mir tut, so lange ich mich als zahlender Kunde so behandeln lassen muss, kommen wir nicht wieder. Schade da das Essen sonst immer gut und lecker war.

Siamo stati a Lahr e ci siamo fidati di questo cuoco Matteo Bissanti,che ci raccontava di essere un grande cuoco,nulla di tutto ciò,il personale trattato malissimo da questo presunto cuoco,e il cibo oltre ad essere scadente è arrivato anche a rate ,oltretutto abbiamo mangiato ciò che non abbiamo ordinato, il cuoco Bissanti nonché titolare, alla nostra lamentela ha risposto che la colpa era dell aiuto cuoco che non capisce nulla,pessima risposta.Secondo me deve cambiare mestiere.Mai mai più,peccato perché il locale è nuovo con 5 belle camere d albergo molto particolari,ma il titolare Bissanti Matteo è pessimo

We ate here on holiday three times in a week and were never disappointed. Nice atmosphere, wide selection of good food, helpful service. We tried the pizza, gnocchi, pasta, lasagne, fish and pork cutlet and enjoyed them all - and the excellent desserts, which also come in child size portions. Lots of local people eat here which is always a good sign. Only pity is that it's 1000km from home so we can't revisit frequently.

My friend had been before, so the proprietor came to greet and offered to put a meal together which we happily accepted. Salad with pan-fried scallops and gambas, taglierini with a light cream sauce and truffle shavings, a creamy but still light soup (can't remember now which vegetable) followed by veal escalopes with a wonderful creamy polenta and some nice vegetables. We didn't know it would be four courses and had wanted just a little something.... but everything was absolutely delicious and we ate it all.... Menu price was ⬠39 per person - more than good value. Can absolutely recommend for a really nice meal, with family / friends or if entertaining business partners (open for lunch as well).

Nicht nur das Essen, sondern auch der Service durch den Chef ist klasse. Wir hatten viel Spaà und viele Leute schnell einwenig kennengelernt. Mal probieren, es lohnt sich.

We had dinner here whilst visiting friends in the area. Staff are very friendly and helpful, good selection of drinks and food. We all had pasta dishes and the food was good quality and very tasty. The atmosphere was lovely and we had a fantastic evening here.

You may be tempted to walk by this small and unassuming restaurant in the heart of Lahr - a short walk from the market square - but think twice before dong so. It has existed for a very long time in its present location (I was there 30 years ago when it was also a pizzeria) and although it changed hands more than 10 years ago it is well worth a visit. Pleasant staff, most welcoming, and really excellent dishes combine for a meal that is both affordable and memorable. We were there for a New Year's dinner and enjoyed a set menu, but if that is any indication of what the Gold River staff can put together daily, you will not be unhappy. The focus is on Italian, of course, and there is a lot of care and attention to detail evident in the preparation. There is much more than just pizzas available. A small restaurant, the atmosphere is one of intimacy and friendliness. We'll go back.

Nach einem TT-Spiel Abends um 22.00 noch einen von drei (!) Tischen bekommen und hervorragende Pizza serviert bekommen.Sehr dünner Boden und leckerem Ruccola und Granahobeln abgerundet.Jederzeit gerne wieder!

Our family of four visited after a long day at Europa park. We just wanted a quick and hearty meal and that's what we got. I ordered the combination plate which was good except that the tortellini tasted like they had been rehydrated from frozen grocery store stock. My son got the prosciutto pizza which was fantastic. My daughter had the carbonara which was huge and tasty. My wife had the fettuccine Salamone which was also good. The house wines were also perfectly fine. All in all a good meal.

The best Italian food outside of Italy, Maria and her staff are wonderful and very attentive. The ambience is light and refreshing. Crystal glasses on the all of the tables and Roman columns around the room. Food presentation that you eat with you eyes first and then the delicious el dente pasta with sauce. I had the spaghetti, shrimp and aubergine pasta, friends had bolognese and a pizza, all were very tasty. A time to practise your Italian, mange bene, viva bene!
