The Good - Bread, crusty & great! Calamari, light and delicious. Bolognese for hubby, a little more tomato than usual but delicious! Shrimp Gran Marnier over Fusilli for me. The shrimp is an App but I wanted it over pasta, very good & unique. Dessert - Cannoli for hubby. Excellent. Espresso Martini for me - just ok, too much Amaretto but drinkable. The Not So Good - the waiter. From the minute we walked in he was rude. Not specifically to us, he had zero personality. He couldn't figure out where to seat us - in a completely empty restaurant. We were early-birds, that night. He was abrupt, not friendly. It appeared he couldn't wait to get rid of us. I tried to engage him in conversation but he wasn't having it. He slammed the food on the table...so much so it was loud. I noticed this behavior with other diners as well. I saw people giving him the eye-roll. He needs to get another job. I can't give his name because he never told us but he's got lots of tats so if you go there ask for another waiter. But, you'll recognize him, he's the one with the personality of a flea. We didn't let him ruin our evening. We met long lost friends there and it was a great evening but we're still talking about his behavior. LOL.As I said, food was delicious. We will return just ask for another waiter.
Friday nights are our pizza night and we just never found one we go crazy over until we discovered Countryside Deli's pizza. Specifically, their white pizza. We normally get it with hamburg on top and it is out of this world. The regular white pizza with cheese is very good, but too much like eating garlic bread. Great for an appetizer, though. Only trouble is their hours of operation. Many times we've wanted to order during the week or on a Saturday only to find they were closed. That would be my only gripe. Other wise, the people working there are genuinely nice - truly feels like a country side store!!

Loved the Marsala. Loved the veal tower. My kid loved the Mac and cheese. But the highlight of the evening: the house dressing!! Lol. Seriously, the house Italian dressing is killer good and worth a trip just for a side salad. Luckily everything else was awesome too.

Original restaurant is in East Boston, MA; this is an additional location.
We had just left the airport and were driving up route 1 when we pulled off into Santarps. After visiting their other location last year we knew we would be getting good food. The pizzas came out quickly, as did the Italian sausage with peppers - must have, and the steak tips. All very good, pizza a little thicker and more cheese at this branch than east Boston. Large selection of bottled beers. They do not disappoint.

I haven't eaten here in 30 years and I came in with some colleagues for lunch. The chicken marsala was beyond expectation. And I'm very picky about it. Pleasantly surprised that the name still represents decent Italian food.

There is a lot of Italian in Wakefield, but they do it right. There is always lots of liveliness and there food is delicious. I enjoyed the calamari, the linguini fra diavolo and numerous other dishes. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a nice date or dinner in a local restaurant away from the city.

We went to this restaurant with friends who live nearby. This was our first trip to the Boston area in 25 years. We had a grand time.two entre salads, my buddy and I each had the Papardelle Ragu which was delicious with home made pasta. My friendsâ wife had the Vodka Chicken and my wife had Veal Piccata with a side of Spicy Zucchini. Two bottles of very serviceable Malbec and two old fashioneds and out the door for $195.81 before tip. Very good dinner at a fair price

We celebrated a birthday in the outside patio. Despite the occasional roadside noise, the meals and beverages were enjoyed by our 3 couples. Some of the remarks...âbest chicken parm, best chicken marsala, etcâ we have enjoyed in some time. Full bar available and casual seating.

Eh, this was just ok. Restaurant was nearly empty but service was slow and lacking (waiter forgot drinks initially, didnât check how meal was or if anything needed during meal). They seemed more preoccupied with prepping for dinner. Our pizza and salad were ok, salad could have had more cheese, dressing). Also had a âpanini,â which was basically breaded chicken, tomato, and mozzarella cheese on dry bread. It was cold and not at all pressed like a panini should be-basically, a cold sandwich. We ended up asking for marinara sauce to dip it in. From previous reviews, had higher expectations. Maybe dinner a better experience? Should have gone to Sonic next door.
