Hands down the best pizza in Kenilworth. It's great to grab 2 slices and a soda for $5 for lunch. The pizza sauce is great and I love that the crust is thin and it's extra cheesey! I highly recommend. I just wish you could eat in!

My boyfriend and I came here for the first time recently and loved it. The entire staff was welcoming and attentive, the food delicious and the drinks wonderful. Portions were ample and flavorful. 2 minor dings- the accompanying side salad was a bit lackluster and the bread was pretty average which surprised me as the food quality is otherwise outstanding. We would definitely return in the future. It was a very enjoyable night out.

Jimmy Buff's has been a NJ tradition for 50+ years. I have frequented the restaurants in Irvington Center, Route 22 in Scotch Plains and now in the center of Kenilworth. My choice will always be a single sweet sausage sandwich w/o mustard and also w/o ketchup. The bread, the sausage, the onions and peppers and the potatoes.....heaven.

Taormina Restaurant

Reviewed By ArubaConsultant

We have a tradition each New Year's Eve to meet friends for dinner and later welcome in the new year at their home. This year they recommended Taormina and it was a treat. Considering the "limited" menu offered for the evening, it was still quite extensive. We enjoyed everything from salads to appetizers to entrees. Dessert was reserved at home. Drinks were generous sized and special meals were superb. Dishes represented many Italian regions. Gnocchi were outstanding. Stuffed artichoke was filling. Salad Italiana was crisp. Ossobuco veal was huge. Pasta Sinatra was fantastic with seafood over capellini. Chicken Parmigiana and Chicken Scarpariello were delightful. My Short Ribs over pasta fell apart at the fork's touch, with no bones to interfere. I was pleased that they included a reasonable gratuity in the bill and prices were quite moderate for a normal evening, not to mention the celebratory evening. We will be visiting this place again to see the full menu.

Three Guys from Italy

Reviewed By mgargiles

I have been eating at "Three Guys" for 15+ years and can honestly say I have not had a bad meal. There is on-the-street parking surrounding the restaurant and a parking lot across the street, but my recommendation is to arrive early since they both fill-up quickly on weekends -- especially since there are several other restaurants in the vicinity. During the week, you can walk-in but I usually make reservations on weekend since the tables fill up quickly as it's not an overly large place. For appetizers, we started with the Mussels Posillipo (hot) and we had to save some of the fresh bread for dipping - make sure you do too! The Italian long-hot peppers and cheese were simple, yet tasty, and the clams casino were literally overflowing with flavor. The sauces that the chefs create and put over the various fish, chicken, and veal dishes are what makes this restaurant shine. The Scrod Livornese had a ton of different flavors all molding into one and the Veal Milanese left enough for lunch the next day.We finished our dinner with a pot of espresso and some homemade cheesecake. We walked out full and satisfied. The restaurant has a small pizza parlor attached to it in the front and it is BYOB so bring some wine and Sambuca.

La Campagnola

At La Campagnola Kenilworth NJ (formerly Roberto's), enjoy casual family dining at its best. With our chef from Calabria, Italy we offer a wide variety of exquisite dishes and a extended wine list. We are 4 star Star Ledger rated!

Reviewed By maireconghaile2016

La Campagnola is a gem of a restaurant, with some of the best Italian food to be found in New Jersey. Tucked away in Kenilworth's industrial zone, la Campagnola's outward appearance does no justice to the wonderful menu inside. The owner and staff are friendly and very professional -- the waiters recite the day's menu from memory and can make informed recommendations. While the specials (ex, mussels in brandy cream sauce) are mouthwatering, the standard menu (ex, linguine alla vongole) is solid and well done. All the parmagiana dishes are excellent, so is the chicken La Campagnola. The filet mignon, when available, is perfectly done. The menu tilts toward seafood (scallops on risotto, various shrimp dishes, salmon, etc) but really everything is done quite well. The chef/owner worked for many years at a famous Italian restaurant in Jersey City and he knows the palate of his customers. La Campagnola is a hidden treasure.
