Salmon perfectly prepared. Calamari and Jalapenos didn't even have one jalapeno. However, possibly the best calamari ever, Very fresh and well prepared. Seafood Rissoto alone, is worth a return visit. Great service and atmosphere. Oh, it's a BYOB!

What a delightful little BYOB bistro & so glad we found it. Tucked in next door to a swimming pool shop, without prior knowledge, the restaurant might be easily missed. While the chef/owner's creations are exquisite & a delight to the taste buds, upbeat waiter Wilbur certainly adds to the meal's enjoyment. On our most recent visit we began our feast w/ Brushetta (for my husband) & a colorful salad including burratta cheese, mango, shrimp & fresh greens (for me) - both dishes winners. For entrees, we both ordered specials: Lamb chops & shrimp for him; Halibut w/ crabmeat for me...delicious! In a celebratory mood, we couldn't resist sampling from the dessert selection: Strawberry Tiramisu for him and Mocha whipped Gelato for me....perfect ending to a perfect meal.

MoonstruckWhat you need to know-Price- $100 before tip to include- several glasses of wine, three course dinner special one app and one entry.Food- basically Italian cuisine, always nicely cooked and seasoned. The menu covers pasta thru fish. There are generally several specials. Donât think we have ever had a poor entry and have eaten here many times. Will highly recommend the spinach gnocchi as some of the very best we have ever enjoyed. Will also mention the chocolate gelato, also amazing.Ambiance- Upscale, probably 150 seats, separated into smaller spaces using, glass, mirrors and white woodwork. Pleasing and comfortable but can be noisy.Service- generally very attentive and professional. Service was lacking at this most recent outing. Our experience- another pleasant evening with good food. No doubt in our mind one of the few good restaurants anywhere near our neighborhood.

MacaroniâsWhat you need to knowPrice- $120 before tip, to include several glasses of wine, two apps, two entries and one desert split.Food- high quality Italian cuisine. Lovely menu with many choices that look wonderful. Always specials. The Bronzino was wonderful and the pasta in brown butter and thyme was memorable. Difficult to have a bad meal here.Ambiance- small venue, one dining room with perhaps ten tables and a bar area with high top seating. Always busy and always loud. Feels upscale a bit like being in town and enjoyable.Service- like the food, always professional and attentive. Our experience- one of the few actual good restaurants in our area. We enjoy every time, the food is always very good and we think at a fair price. One of our two go to places.

My wife and I had a great dinner at La Strada to celebrate my birthday. Our shrimp appetizers were cooked perfectly, and our Bronzino entrees were outstanding. We have had Bronzino at several restaurants, but La Strada prepares it perfectly and accompanies it with a nice selection of vegetables. Since this is a BYOB restaurant, it is hard to beat the great price and incredible quality of La Strada. Bellissimo!!Thank you for your review Kenny. We are so happy to hear you and your wife enjoyed your meals and our reasonable prices. We appreciate your business and hope to see you again soon.

After having only lunch here, my husband and I recently had our first dinner and what an excellent meal it was. We had a great table by the window/fountain and enjoyed several delicious courses while enjoying fabulous service. The portions were more than generous and I left with enough for another meal. We would highly recommend.

Maggio's offers an extensive menu of Italian and non Italian entree items. A wide variety of sandwiches and a comprehensive breakfast menu with omelettes and such. They also offer an array of fresh salads. Our server was excellent and particularly helpful and atentive. There is a bar with big screen TV's as well as several banquet rooms. There is ample parking. I believe thatchy even have a Keno parlor. We found the food to be OK, not exemplary. When the restaurant gets busy, it get noisy and difficult to have a serious conversation.Seems to be a hit with locals.Thank you for you taking the time and making the effort to post your review. I am sorry that you found our family owned restaurant only average. Since we opened Maggioâs in 1976 we have always attempted to produce the absolute best in foods, drinks, cleanliness, and ambience. This lovely Montgomery County restaurant has become a direct victim of the Byberry Road bridge detour...and its nearly empty dining room is certainly not deserved. When we heard the news report about the situation, we happily undertook the drive from our Bucks County home to pay another visit. We were seated by the chef/ owner & quickly presented with a small loaf of warmed bread to enjoy while we awaited our appetizers; happily, olive oil is present on the table & butter was also provided in the bread basket. For our first course, we shared two appetizers - Bruschetta (chopped tomato & basil on flatbread topped with a balsamic reduction) and Mozzarella Pomodoro (tiny cheese balls w/ cherry tomatoes & large olives dressed with basil, olive oil & aged balsamic). Both were tasty. For our main course, we both chose Veal Saltimbocca (breaded veal medallions with prosciutto di parma & mozzarella seasoned w/ sage & served in a demi-glaze loaded with sliced mushrooms) - garlic mashed potatoes & sauteed spinach were included. We left Piero's happily stuffed & sorry we didn't leave room for dessert. Support local business & don't let a road detour keep you from enjoying all this restaurant has to offer.

Who knew this little BYOB gem was here in this strip shopping center? But what a great meal! Everyone in our group had a completely outstanding meal!We went to this place to celebrate our mom's birthday. She absolutely loved it! Her mussels appetizer was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was delicious. Others split a Linguine Pescatore pasta dish and also loved the sauce. The seafood was prepared perfectly. I had the grilled romaine salad, which was good and light, though not great. It needed something more than just a plate of grilled lettuce.Three people got the fish special, which was a grilled Chilean sea bass. I don't usually like that fish but tasted it and thought it was delicious. Mom was happy as a clam with her Linguine with Clam sauce (pun intended!), and the restaurant makes their own pasta. I had Risotto Pescatore. I am picky about risotto, but this was creamy and delicious and the seafood was plentiful and perfectly prepared: shrimp, mussels, calamari and clams. Portions are very generous and there was plenty to take home.Normally I would forego dessert (I was stuffed), but there was a birthday involved. So we got a Peanut Butter Tartufo, which was split into 4 pieces and more than enough for 3 of us! It's basically an ice cream version of a Snickers bar: peanut butter ice cream coated with caramel, wrapped in a chocolate shell. Though stuffed, there was no resisting! The lighting was weird. They really need an electrician. Lights kept dimming and brightening, and it seemed to coincide with the air conditioning. Hopefully they'll get that fixed, as it was rather annoying. Though the food preparation was high end, prices were really down to earth and reasonable. An espresso was $1.95. The tartufo was $7.95 and my risotto was a bargain at $21.
