One of my regular haunts, this is a place I usually go to for a take-away. You can call in advance, they give you a time - could be anything from ten to 25 minutes - and voila! Great choice choice of pizzas to choose from. They include a drink. Itâs more though. They have a big terrace and a varied menu that includes meat on a hot slate - itâs hot. Everythingâs fresh and cooked to order. Thatâs why you sometimes have to wait a bit longer. This isnât a gourmet restaurant, but good and wholesome with a family atmosphere.

We had a large group- they happily accommodated us with no reservation. We had pizzas, amazing steaks and I highly recommend the local fish. The locals eating here also engaged with us to create a really lovely atmosphere and evening.Thank you very much

I have dined here twice recently. Staff members were polite and helpful and the food was very good. We drank some nice local wines recommended by the staff. Their stake is perfect and the staff is very cheerful and friendly. I saw some other meals around us that looked amazing and the other guests also enjoyed eating there. Everything there is authentic Italian, the ambiance and the staff as well. The waiter offered a nice wine, they have plenty of good wines. The food is a bit expensive but still a reasonable price for the quality, absolutely recommended

From outside it looks very simple but it is actually avery good restaurant wit very attentive service. We appreciated the special carpaccio, the horse steack, the pasta with chanterelles mushrooms. Only regret: you can only choose a cheese fondue if you are on the terrace or on the bistro side (nothing smelly in the restaurant).

First visit at La Poesia. At first sight, you would not bet on it as the location is below average (and parking is an issue) but once you push the door, you enter a lovely universe. Really a positive surprise. Food is fresh and tasty, and portions are very generous. Staff is friendly; kudos to Francesco, who's dynamism, positive attitude and humor added that little something to our evening.

Last minute dinner at this new restaurant in the area. Nothing fancy. Quite big and parking easy. Service was kind and smooth. Sirop was offered to kids. Tried out the Vitello Tonnato as a starter (comes with fries). Nothing special, could have had a bit more of tonnato. Pizza was good, mushrooms were fresh, the dough was thin. A personal note: deceived that the Romana comes with a little piece (1/4) of hard-boiled egg and not a full egg cooked with it (sort of a sunny-side up you normally get). We had a Beef Tartar with fries and bread. Tartar was good though there wasn't a pre-trial. Fries had a bit of seafood taste. Guess the oil needs a change. Overall they just need some fine-tuning. We'll be back to try other dishes.

On our usual family Sunday dinner tour, i came across this restaurant. Read the comments on TA and gave it a shot. I was not deceived!! My family and I found this restaurant's food awesome. Finally an italian restaurant that reflects the real Italian cuisine. We were so nicely greeted by the owner's daughter-in-law. We were offered a basket of "fritelle"... just so yummy. Ordered a "parmigiana", finger licking! Pizza dough was just as we like it, delicious. I had the spaghettone alla chitarra , so tasty. Great wine list for a little restaurant like this one. I highly recommend the place. For sure the outside isn't appealing but this is as close as you can get to Italy.
