Pleasante looking restaurant but with mediocre food at best. I have eaten Nasi Goreng in all price categorys across Lombok and Bali but this was by far the worst one. Expected more since reviews were so great. Turns out they give you a 10% discount if you give them good reviews, not OK. We ate here for breakfast everyday as a part of our stay at âThe Renaissance Hotel & Resortâ and we were delighted every morning. With a vast array of delicious cooked and uncooked options, including those for vegetarians and vegans, a range of healthy juices and smoothies and excellent teas and strong coffees, âClay Craftâ was a great way to start our day.The decor and ambiance is very contemporary. Epic lunch, the tacos and poke bowl are delish. But the real show stopper is the loco moco - the pattie is unreal, the whole dish is amazing. Cheap prices and great food, would defs recommend. Hands down the best food we have in Uluwatu! Fresh, healthy clean food, thatâs delicious. My sister ordered the steak and I ordered a platter and a smoothie bowl. Steak was amazing and the chef came out personally to explain how he cooked the food. Incredibly friendly staff, parking in the front, you can pay by card or thereâs a cash point near by.

Whilst this place has the views and ultimate location over the cliff top thatâs about all they have.We made a reservation for dinner, only to be told on arrival that they were fully booked?! We then got squeezed on a small table for 4 at max but there were 6 of us. We visited for dinner whilst attending a wedding in Uluwatu for something the different and whilst the view was spectacular the food was barely edible. We had pizzas which were basically dough with a bit of tomato sauce on them. The Nasi Goreng was overcooked and bland. Water was $6 AU a bottle and drinks at the top end of Bali prices.Staff were very pretentious and not considerate to our needs, just trying to rush us out so they could clear the table.Hi AV8R88,Thank you so much for your feedback and we apologies if your experience at Ulu Cliffhouse did not meet your expectation.We note that one of the staff from your hotel reserved the table for you through a phone call. We have explained to him that our restaurant table was fully booked and we only have daybeds available. We believe there was a miscommunication in passing the information from the hotel staff. There was one table for four available when you arrived so we offered them to you and your family. Sunday is indeed the day when we have live DJ playing, we are sorry if the music does not meet your taste and is too loud for you.We wish you a great time in Bali and hoping to give you a better experience in the future.

Food is good, the place is clean, the stuff is friendly and they even have bamboo straws instead of plastic! The place is right on a busy street, but the decoration and everything else makes it still a place where we will come back to :)
