This is the second time I visited suluban beach around Uluwatu, because the first time did not have time to enjoy the beauty of the beach due to rain. But this second chance I did not waste time to enjoy the splendor and the beauty of this beach, Very recommend once if traveling in Uluwatu area do not stop by this beautiful place.

Bali Wayan Private Tour & Driver

Professional Bali driver and transport service for your vacation in Bali.

The guide was extremely knowledgable and took us to very interesting places. I would not recommend paying to see The Barong and Kris Dance Group - we waled out halfway through it. However the temples he took us to were excellent, particularly one where people walk through very cold water in order to get blessed by the gods. The seaside temple at Tanah Lot is well worth visiting. If you visit the temple where there are monkeys roaming around, hang onto all your possessions because the moneys are aggressive and will grab items from you if you are not vigilant.

Ulu Watu Beach

Small beach in the middle of two cliffs, walk down the steps into this intimate sandy swimming spot. Not much sun as the cliffs block most of the sky, but the water is so warm that it doesn't matter unless you are tanning. Huge waves made for great water play but watch out for a very strong undertow which threatened to drag me out. Not a lot of space so i imagine it gets crowded. We had the luxury of a reduced volume of people due to the volcano. Tons of fun then head up to enjoy the sunset at one of the many cliff-side establishments.

1-It has been advertised that Bali Waterbom is the best and biggest in Asia, but Dubai Wild Wadi is obviously bigger and to my opinion better ( in terms of design, safety and variety ). I think Bali deserves a bigger water park with more recreation choices, and I hope one day a bigger one with more facilities and better design be constructed.
2- The surface of the Waterbom is mostly rough and it really bothers the plantar of feet.
3- The slide towers are designed just for risk takers and adventurous people. For example, when you take stairs up to the top you can see the poor railing design which gives you the feeling of unsafety and insecurity. I think it would have been better if some parts of towers had been replaced by artificial hills to achieve the desired height. Besides, the steep slides give the feeling of free fall which is not safe for all people.
4- The slow current river is short and narrow.
5- It lacks some facilities like : perimeter slide which goes around all over of the park, artificial lake with beach and waves,... .

Actually the real "Padang Padang" beach, where the tourists go is actually Labuan Sait beach, it is a long way down, but worth it, go for lunch at Ari's place the most left little warung, just below their home stay perched on the cliff, best fried calamari ever in Bali, I liked the fish curry, it is super simple but gives you a cool Robinson like feel, more development seems to come so go while its empty...

Blue Point Beach

The beauty of the Beaches in Bali called Blue Point, Distance from Kuta beach is about 45 minutes, by passing through the winding roads and up and down. Location Blue Point is still a one-way to the temple of Uluwatu, Padang-padang beach, and Dreamland. This beach is situated in the village of Pecatu, namely at the southern tip of the Badung regency. Actually the original name of this beach is Suluban. Near the beach there is a hotel called Bluepoint Villas, so Suluban better known as Bluepoint. The hotel is quite well known outside of Bali and was used for shooting advertising a brand drinks, starring Miss Universe. 'Suluban' adoption of the word 'mesulub' which in Balinese language means "in bali have to stoop to walk through a gap in the cliff". This may be because the road to this beach you must go down through a narrow road between the coastal cliffs.

Beach club is very beautiful, the problem is that is so crowded and you must arrive early in the morning. The have a chapel and that’s why, they have like 10 pre marriage photoshoots during the day. The place is beautiful and your entry ticket ticket give you a free lunch and a drink. The sunset is breathtaking.
