Osijek (Croatian pronunciation: [ôsijeːk] ( listen)) is the fourth largest city in Croatia with a population of 108,048 in 2011. It is the largest city and the economic and cultural centre of the eastern Croatian region of Slavonia, as well as the administrative centre of Osijek-Baranja County. Osijek is located on the right bank of the river Drava, 25 kilometres (16 mi) upstream of its confluence with the Danube, at an elevation of 94 metres (308 ft).

That restaurant is rather good. Itâs located on the first floor of the Hotel Osijek and when sitting at the tables close to the windows itâs possible to enjoy a marvelous view over the River Drava. Itâs very well lit up by daylight due to the large windows situated precisely on the side looking onto the stated River. The interior is very well bedecked with white wire like structures intertwined in a special way thus resembling peculiar twig blocks. Apart from that, the chairs with tapestry of different colours: purple, deep red and green form a very attractive ensemble contrasting in an artistic manner with the white tablecloths and napkins. The atmosphere is in general very nice and pleasant. I could improve if the music were of a better quality or if there were no music at all. The staff members are rather kind and efficient.The food which can be eaten there is good. I ordered a beefsteak and it was tasty and well cooked. As far as toughness level is concerned the meat could in fact have been softer though not much effort was needed to chew it.Consequently, itâs advisable to go to the restaurant in question when visiting Osijek and have a meal there particularly to have the possibility to contemplate the fantastic view over the River.

A nice hotel with a good location. Friendly and helpful staff and a lovely breakfast. Proper orange juice makes all the difference to me and a nice fruit salad, good scrambled eggs. Room was clean and comfortable. I will certainly come again.
