Beautiful room and excellent food.This restaurant in in the Old Cataract in Aswan. This is where Agatha Christie wrote Death on the Nile. The 1978 movie was filmed in parts of this hotel.

What a view!!! Canât really say much more really. The food is good. The drink is what you would expect, but the views are absolutely amazing. Couldnât believe it wasnât busier....
3. The Orangerie

We visited this restaurant two times while staying at the Philae Hotel and we always received a good service. The views from the 13th floor are stunning. Great choice to enjoy a drink and watch the sunset. We loved the Mezze, the burgers and the Creme Brûlée. The wild mushrooms quiche is not that special. The local white wine is ok. You can use the free boat service that the Moevenpick hotel has to go there.
