Had a family meal here that was second to none. The food was great and the service terrific.Had a selection of dishes and all were wonderful. They also specially made deserts for us and were chatty and interesting. Bathroom's are a little rudimentary but ok.This is a great little restaurant that makes you feel very welcome.

I love an Indian meal and was not disappointed with this restaurant. It was busy but service was great and the menu choice excellent. Portion size was just right and the taste and flavour spot on. Next visit to Sydney and we will return!

Thoroughly enjoyed the food at the Malabar and the attention and service by the staff was great. We ordered the Samosas, Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala and the Korma along with rice and roti, all of which was very tasty. In addition the restaurant was not very noisy so our group could easily can on a conversation. Will be making a return visit next time in Sydney.

Our daughter had eaten here a few times over the couple of weeks since it opened and recommended lunch there.There was a set menu lunch for $15 pp with a nice selection of food. The food was great, enjoyed by all. If planning evening dining, would suggest you book a table as it is not very large, but apparently very popular for dinner. I am sure once people become aware it is open at lunch time too, space could become limited.

I've been a regular and long time customer for the better part of 6yrs.This is largely due to the consistent high quality of their dishes. Vindaloo and Pepper Chicken are my go to dishes that have never once failed to meet my expectations! Not once. When takeaway is ordered the food is always hot, size is great and deliver on time or earlier than expected.
