After a disappointing visit to an Indian restaurant on the same street, it was a relief to find decent food in this restaurant. While the options for vegetarians were similarly limited, the food was fresh and the service was laid back and non invasive. Overall, I would go back if in the area. It would be nice to see more vegetarian main dishes on the menu. If, like me, you like spicy food, make sure you ask the waiter for your dish to be truly spicy. French sub continental restaurants do not automatically serve dishes spicy so you may be disappointed if you don't specify that you'd like your dishes to be spicy.

Weather you are local or traveling through and are looking for a tasty evening meal in Meaux this little gem will hit the spot. Friendly staff willing to make you feel welcome from the moment you open the door. Clean decor with lovely linen tablecloths and napkins made the overall experience quite civilized. A good menu with traditional dishes from both the north and south of India. Catering for all tastes from mild to spicy dishes. We all love hot spicy food and found it a little mild compared to what we are used to.Our overall experience was super.

Made a stop in Meaux on our "Tour de France" for Disneyland. Found this place close to our Ibis Hotel and it was open late. Very good value for money and finger-licking- yummy! Nice change from all the French food the weeks before.The friendly owner speaks English

voilà bien longtemps que nous allons au kalife et pas juste pour les naans et kebab mais parceque je suis a chaque fois touchée par l accueil la gentillesse du patron et du personnel.les naans sont les meilleurs de meaux et pour nous faire patienter un petit the ou café gentiment offert,je ne sais pas vous mais moi je respecte et je ne peux tarir d eloge sur eux.
