We had dinner at this restaurant, which fully deserves its ranking. The location is quite central, public parking is available nearby (Plaza Numancia). The restaurant has a sober and very tasteful decoration in white and blue tones. The welcoming of the staff and the eagerness of the waiter to explain the whole menu card (there is no english version available) was overwhelming. The food was excellent (warm salad and cold partridge for starters, sirloin with foie gras and roasted pigeon for mains). Appetizers and a glass of Rioja were offered. We wish we could come again...

Went Sunday night so probably a little quieter than normal. Good menu with some interesting dishes. We had the croquetas and mushrooms to start and then the turbot and pork cheeks - highly recommend the latter. Crianza rioja for 12eur a bottle too. After strolling around Santander doing the sights we came across this establishment. More like a bar on the ground floor but a small restaurant upstairs. Excellent small selection of tapas, mainly fish orientated, but well prepared and served in friendly surroundings. Wine excellent as was the beer!

We had lunch here before boarding the ferry to Portsmouth. The anchovy, pepper and cheese starter was excellent. The Sea Bass fillet was meaty and well cooked, the beef escalope stuffed with mushroom pate was really good. The prawn & mussel tagliatelle was very nice and very different to any italian pasta!!Thank you very much for your review. We appreciate you enjoying our menu. We hope to see you again soon.
